Just because this mix is including a lot of songs from X2 doesn't make it X2 CS. Extreme 2 Included quite a few 3rd mix songs and that didn't make it 3rd mix CS, did it? I don't think this is intended to be an arcade port, in fact, I don't think arcade ports will ever happen again. They'll just blend the song lists while giving the CS version its own experience. It was easy to do in the past as DDR ran on similar hardware on arcade and CS (PSX/PS2 hardware bases). Now with a CS hardware base, it's probably not nearly as simple, and I'm very ok with that. If this was X2 CS, I would totally skip buying it as I have a better chance at passing the RDA songs on the X2 near here than on the Wii pad.

Wait is it confirmed that we are getting the X scale or the old scale? cause it would look stupid if it was the old scale.

I had that same question too. If we do end up with the old scale, then it better be going above 10 like on ITG. Valkyrie Dimension is pretty much an ITG 14.

During E3 2011, they used the old scale where POSSESSION was rated as a 10.

Now with all RDA songs, Is it right to think that we have here a pretty solid proof of challenge mode being included?

Maybe, but I wouldn't jump to conclusions just yet.

If they put enough songs in this game that have challenge charts, then hopefully it's included.

That being said, I hope lots of the new songs include challenge charts
...and unique BG videos because I miss those from the past few CS releases.

Yeah, look at Hottest Party 3 that had a lot of challenge songs on X2 PS2 and X2 AC but weren't in the Wii version.

I expect us to get the challange charts and the X scale this year.

Heres why:
1. The Wii version is there only title this year and they seem to being going all out.
2. They are trying to be closer to the arcade.

I must say I really like someday and CG Project. D8; Didn't like the kors mix of Poseidon, though. Why didn't they use the original Poseidon? "OTL

I thought the 20-foot scale was a bit much, but it IS more accurate than a 10-scale, I can admit that much. D8 I'm fine with any scale, though. Not looking forward to Challenge, unless there's no Shock Arrows, then I want to try them again.

They might be a bit apprehensive about using the X-scale because players might look at it and think the game shot way up in difficulty and the songlist is already showing a huge increase in difficulty from the previous Wii games. And if I recall correctly, X CS never really explained the X-scale in its information thing. It was just kind of there.

That was always a problem from the beginning, there was 10 years of unlearning to do for existing fans of the series. It wouldn't have been quite so bad if they had switched and never looked back. That the old scale still persists in some (not all) games is even more confusing.

Maybe they could have a switch in the options that lets you choose the scale you want to use (defaulting to the new scale). If only for the next couple of releases. Then one day the option is simply not there and you're stuck with the new scale.

Sounds like something you'd see in OS X or Windows.

Because Poseidon kors k mix is from DDR X2. Who knows, we might get the original. I hope that we get the whole planet series, including Jupiter since we didn't get that in X CS, that would be cool since they were really good.

I'm sorry, but there was a reason they didn't use Jupiter. It has an abrupt ending, and it sounds like it was made in MIDI. L'amour et la Liberte (Darwin and DJ Silver Remix) should be used, though.

Still, it was the one planet song we never got. And yes, The L'amour remix should be used.
