Seriously losing interest in Jubeat quickly, hopefully this big new update adds some fun new features and a Konami pack or two.

They really need to add something to jukebeat too - no new packs since Nov 20, 2015...

What makes the Rise Against pack awful, apart from the fact that the band supports PETA?

Holy fuck lol, I think everyone that has played has either stopped playing due to lack of packs or moved on to jubeat plus.

Even then the content so far for jubeat plus has all been Japanese license packs with re-issued packs for HOLD charts, so even that side is getting slow-ish.

Come on Qubell, give us a megaton load of content please

There's a shit load of Prop content that's not out yet, they're just stalling for some stupid reason. Maybe sales have slowed?

Prop content is stalling similar to how groovin content was delayed for RB+
They're probably waiting for Qubell to release before they start pushing the rest of the prop content.

I think they're going to catch up with all of the missing RB songs before they continue with the prop songs. Or at least catch up to Groovin' Upper, which the game is about 12 songs away from, if they don't add the missing songs from the other games as well.

Update 3.9.0 is out for jubeat plus! ...and no, it does not contain the copious update. Expect the copious update when 4.0.0 comes out sometime after jubeat Qubell officially releases.

RANKING is replaced by CHALLENGE, which is an entirely new system.

-Players will need to be connected to the internet to agree with the TOS after updating.
[After agreeing, you can play offline again as usual]

-When entering the CHALLENGE section, you will need to be connected to the internet.
1. Once connected, you will need to confirm your purchased music packs via restoration confirmation login.
2. After that is done, you can create a USER ID and begin.

-You will be introduced to a scratch sheet.
1. Songs that you've purchased will already be revealed; all others will need to be scratched.
2. You get ONE free scratch per day, and there are 16 scratch panels.
3. There is a Play Coin (stamina) system; 1 Play costs 10 Play Coins; 50 Play Coin limit.
[Play Coin Recover Rate: 1 every 3 minutes (or 2.5 hours for full recovery)]
***There is a store here that allows you to buy (with real money) more Play Coins via jCubes.
****Additional scratch chances cost 100 jCubes per scratch; Full Play Coin recovery also costs 100 jCubes.

4. After playing a song, your highest score for that song in this CHALLENGE mode will be posted to the world leaderboards.
5. There is a "present" (gift) section as well as a rival search and rival list function in the menu.
6. There is also a function that shows you the songs in the current scratch sheet, but not their locations.
7. The scratch sheet at this time will change after around 1.5 weeks.
8. There is a Qubell preview song (運命) in this scratch sheet's list.


I personally think this update is pretty interesting, and I currently have no gripes about it other than it not being copious. :)

Here's proof that KONAMI knows that the internet exists: they randomize the card per user so you can't just get the song you want on a scratch from a cheat sheet.

Also, before you ask, I have all the KONAMI packs, so it was easy to get the Beethoven's Fifth scratch.

From this month(?/week?)'s selection, it looks like only arcade songs are making it, so those recent GITADORA, pop'n, and DDR packs won't be demo-able through this feature.

Can you eventually unlock 運命?

It appears the only way to permanently unlock a song is to buy it, same as always. Of course, since it has no pack yet, 運命 can only be played in this mode. It's not too bad though, unless you want to drill the song to perfection, because you can play it 5 times in a row then just wait 2 and a half hours to recharge.

Interesting, I'm glad they added something new to the game (been playing more RB plus because you can unlock stuff for it). I won't be spending money on jCubes though, better to spend those expensive iTunes cards on real song packs.

Next wish for me is support for hold markers for the chart making system.

*EDIT* I have a feeling Sweet Rain (Y&Co) and Snow Goose will make their reappearance on here.
