If he does come back, let alone on music games in general, he'd probably be a commission artist (I could see him doing some music for Groove Coaster and/or CrossBeats though).

So whats the updates on D&B Getting it is it going to be June or next month? Im curious since Round 1 is supposed to get theirs in July. So any news I wanna stomp some american Arrows lol

In Canada, a local arcade told me they will have a new DDR game delivered in September 2016. I have no clue what version it is. It could be DDR Extreme (I doubt it because that's not new), one of the more recent mixes (I doubt it because as most of us know, Betson pads are a pain), Pump It Up (possible if the arcade confused DDR with PIU) or (I sure hope) DanceDanceRevolution A. Since it will be in a few months from now and the other games are available instantly, I'm thinking it will be DDR A. This could also mean that Canada in general would receive DDR A in September or earlier. I believe USA will get it before, this month as announced.

It honestly wouldn't surprise me since Canada is now a selectable region when you register your eA account on DDRA.

If a local arcade in Canada is really getting A, then maybe Konami is starting to get serious about making DDR a thing again outside of Asia. I think the chances of this game going to smaller arcades, let alone making a European version and possibly giving us some 'Murican IIDX/SDVX even though they'd probably be Round1 "Exclusives"... maybe plz? ;-; is gonna depend on how profitable the machines are at both R1 and (especially) D&B.

Judging by what I found at D&B's Reddit, there appears to be some kind of issue with the shipping, likely pushing it back towards late June/early July. Wish I had more on this.

Speaking of areas, if somebody's EA Gate account is set to a region other than Japan, what does http://p.eagate.573.jp/game/ddr/ddra/p/playdata/areabrowser.html show for you?

For a Japan-area EA Gate account, with DDR A's "所属都道府県" set to a non-Japanese country, http://p.eagate.573.jp/game/ddr/ddra/p/playdata/areabrowser.html shows the 47 prefecture options of Japan only.

(Play area browser, like filter darkness setting, was removed from the game software in DDR A.)

What do you mean "filter darkness setting was removed"?

Basically, if you have the 'Basic Course" thing, you can change...

The screen filter (which was removed from the menu...and not you can only change it through this. It set on Darkest by default)

Also, from my memory, at least with one of my accounts, you get to see the same stuff and there's nothing different. However Paseli is disable for America if you have it set in your preference when you open your account. You can't add Paseli to your card once your profile is set to America. You will be blocked automatically (unless I was doing something wrong.) You will need to open a new account and set the region to Japan. For some reason, mines went back to America without me doing anything.

If someone could please list the Japanese spelling of countries with the English translation in a bullet list, I would be very thankful. I'd like to be able to learn how to write Canada, the United States, Korea, Thailand, Taiwan, Japan and more in Japanese. :-)

If you're talking about the previously posted image, it lists Japan's prefectures along with the other following areas:

香港 → Hong Kong
韓国 → Korea
台湾 → Taiwan
海外 → "Overseas" (basically everywhere else in the world)
シンガポール → Singapore
タイ → Thailand

カナダ → Canada
アメリカ → America (the U.S.)
日本 → Japan

Why is VICE now jumping on this ship? Didn't they already grapple enough profit from Viceland and their shows?

They'll probably have some bullshit show about the "integrity" of japanese rhythm gamers which will ultimately be just an over exaggeration of what we really are. I really hope VICE cancels this.
