Am I the only one disappointed by all this? Why couldn't they have just ported X2 AC to the PS2 and call it a day? Now the chances of getting X2 are slim to none.

Now theres the issue of getting a PS2-Wii converter, which I assume will introduce some sort of lag. Plus, and im pretty sure I may be the only one who has this opinion, but I cant stand the HP interface. It just looks so hideous compared to the main games; not to mention the characters.

And this is why I shall wait for the used game price besides the fact that I'm cheap... while this is a-freakin-ma-zing, it's still oddly on the Wii.
Still respect them for making a good effing game, though.

I've only seen two converters and some DDR players have reviewed them, saying mostly good things as long as you buy a newer one. But who knows if any hardcore players use them... hmm.

Same here, A LOT of people are either trying to listen or the app needs to be fixed (which it should, All My Love is actually in the list, but it's seen as "Anti-Matter" by kors k ft. that other artists i can't think of right now XD).

They should just put these songs up as a download pack for the 2010 PS3/360 versions if they don't want to make an all new game.

I agree with this 110%!!!! I really want them to do an DDR S+ type game for the PS3/360 with all the features of the arcade release including (doubles, nonstop mode and courses, oni courses, online scoring, characters etc). I think it'll make money but I digress.

FYI: I currently use Mayflash's Cube JoyBox converter or the Wii and have not experienced any lag. I use it with my Blue Shark 3" platform. I recommend it. Just in case any one is interested, I can also recommend this converter for the PS3 (models with 4 USB slots). http://www.amazon.com/PS2-PS3-Dance-Converter-PlayStation-3/dp/B000WE5HRK. Happy playing guys!!!

It's good to see DDR X2 songs making the cut here.

Here's hoping the next set will reveal more songs from DDR X2, and X3

"Give me a steady beat."
I'm pleased beyond belief. This is definitely the best Wii title thus far based on revival content alone. (In Konamiland, songs from X2 are revivials)

But I honestly don't want them to send us content from X3 (Or too much of X2 for that matter), I want The Wii to get pummeled by main series classics because it honestly hasn't gotten them yet. The first couple of games on the Wii were their own thing and that's not bad per say but if the ship has landed now it's time to make up for lost time. This mix needs to be infused with KOs from across the board. From PARANOiA to I'm So Happy. It needs at least a handful of classic Dancemania tracks. C'mon Konami, be random like you were six years ago when DDR outside Japan was awesome! For example: THE RACE, NEVER GONNA MAKE, ROCK BEAT, FOLLOW ME, TRANCE DE JANIERO, MY BABY MAMA, TWO WEEKS OFF, MY FIRE, etc. would be a good place to start. Cool

The only thing that would disappoint me now is if the rest of the reveals make this game essentially X2 with a theme that looks like X3 and pop*candy had a baby.

"BEEJAY REVEL A"
*See's Second Reveal*

Oh. My. God. I am DEFINITELY buying this now. And to think there are still 3 more reveals to come! Certainly going to look forward to playing this. I'm really REALLY glad Konami is taking this iteration more seriously this time around. Hopefully this will be the new trend for their future games.

I just feel it would be a million times better if they just released X2 on the Wii as is, without all the HP stuff.

"On ZiV I'm like Princess Diana"
Yeah, usually.

It had Vanilla Ice rapping the verses and a female singer doing the chorus. It sounded more like a D-Crew song than a Des-ROW song.

Yeah, all those songs are original songs from X2. Tongue Don't worry, we don't expect everyone to know everything about DDR.

Would love to play this when the US does.
Looks like Europe will have to wait another 7 or so months.

"Give me a steady beat."
The Euro version of the Wii series hasn't dropped off yet, it's a pretty safe bet that you guys will get this too... it's just a matter of when. Sad

My question is will Japan finally get a successor to an almost two year old game? (MUSIC FIT, released January 2010)

With how much X2 is being packed into this thing... I'm thinking that this is probably, literally going to be X2 CS now. Not sure how I feel about that.
