I found some interesting, the part of the beginning of "Your Angel" (0:00-0:22) sounds similar in the beginning of the song "A thousand miles" by Dj Speedo, but in Your Angel song is slow.

Your Angel

A thousand miles

......uuuhhh....I think most everyone knew that Your Angel sounded very oddly close to A Thousand Miles by now.

EDIT: wow no idea Shiny World also sounded close to that song o__o

The website updater screwed up the website once again~

LOL-ed at the 『Pluto Relinquish』 difficulty. Now it's super underrated, rofl~

I was reading the ancient SuperNOVA2 thread.

Somehow they put Pluto Relinquish's SN2 beta difficulty on the official site. (Yes, Pluto Relinquish was 1/3/5/8/10 on SN2 beta. with that chart.)

I seem to remember something about all the SN2 charts being rated before they were actually made, but the people who made the charts weren't the same people who rated them. Some charts difficulties were changed before the official release (PRH) some weren't (Uranus Oni).

I can understand them approaching it with with a idea of an itinerary ("Ok, so we want the game to have this many level 8s, this many level 9s, etc.")

We also don't know which song was going to be called Pluto and which song was Pluto Relinquish at that point in development. It's fairly likely that most of the songs were named (or re-named) to go along with the game's "planets" theme, and they might have just switched the names of the two songs later in development?

Also, remember that SuperNOVA 2 and Hottest Party 2 were developed together, and then split into two games, so some of the songs which ended up in SN2 suffer from "Ridiculously Under-Rated CS Chart Syndrome"

I think it was a programming oversight, Uranus' ratings got copied over to Pluto Relinquish.

ionno if anyone mentioned this.
the random movies for Genom Screams uses videos of a yellow character, and 3 guys running on a glove (my guess is yellow steals the vial from the other 2 and runs off with it) Genom Screams is the only song that uses these, no other song, and the videos werent on Extreme CS.

Along with The Legend of MAX which features it on the titlecard. (At least, the video is definitely in EXTREME US CS and Arcade.)

Oh, wait, I just realized you were referring to the particular side shot, in which case you're right.

So does Flower, in some parts, especially during the main chorus.

This was something new for me, but based on RemyWiki, the pronunciation of DXY! is actually "Dixie", not "dee-echs-why".

A lot of the pronounciations of gibberish names are very different for American audiences, who played for years without hearing them pronounced by Japanese players. AA ("Double Ace"), .59 ("Ten-go-ku") and 888 ("Ha-chi-yaso-ba") are the most notable ones.

For Pump players it was even worse Since the vast majority of the song titles were only ever displayed in Korean, most people started referring to songs by any English words that happend to appear in the background, either on the song banner or during the song, and you had players using widely-accepted song titles like "Caution" (Gyoung Go) and "Cordiality" (Another Truth). It then got more confusing when Andamiro gave the songs "official" English titles that bore even less correlation to the original song titles than the fan-names did.

I always wondered why Saint Goes Marching Remix was called Saint Goes Marching Remix because I couldn't find the original anywhere. However, I managed to figure out that it was originally from Happy Jack Productions, where I discovered that the version in DDR was "Helix Remix" and the original Saint Goes Marching was released in April 1996.

Edit: Here's the full version of the original if anyone was wondering http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UC28Zf2hpF0
