Yes it was; I read an article on neowin.net and it seems like EA is not too happy with the new E3 format and may get it reverted in the future. Big Grin

E3 KONAMI Booth:

This is why E3 being press only annoys the hell out of me. Sad
I find myself wanting to rotate the photo to the right to get a view of DDR X

In the photo I see the 4 dancing pads in total. The 2 for DDR HP2, but the other two for what game are they? Is it DDR X?

I'm not sure because DDR Universe series must use DDR Ultramix dancepad. But looking from the dancepad color (white pad with red and blue arrow) I'm sure that was DDR for PS2 (But what DDR?)

"I'm honestly pissed off."
The best part is, it looks like those pads haven't even really been used. You can tell by the terrible positioning of the P1 PS2 pad. Anybody on that pad would be looking at the screen at such a bad angle they'd be gauranteed to do bad, even if they were a good player. I think it's pretty clear that Konami doesn't expect a single press person to be able to do 1s, much less something as hard as a 5, so they made only a quarter hearted attempt to show HP 2 and DDR X.
Gotta love being in a niche market, where the game actually requires effort. Not only do all the couch potatos make fun of you, but they pretend your games don't even exist.
silenttype01: Kyzentun is never harsh. He says it how it is.

GENERATION 24: The first time you see this, copy it into your sig on any forum and add 1 to the generation. Social experiment.

And this really makes me wonder -why- new info on DDR X ps2 hasn't been posted yet. With those ps2 pads we should at least know for sure -what- game that was. It really looks like something is up here. And info isn't being posted for a reason too.

It's not being posted because there isn't any. E3's over and no one bothered to get that much info while it was on.

With DDR X a no-show at Comic-Con, it's safe to say we'll wait for September to roll around. Glad to hear Unknown Gamer's having a great time over there. Had my cousin not moved back here, I would've been able to go.Oops

Annoyingly, there was someone who was a DDR player at the event, but the only info they gave was of Butterfly and the new rating scale >_>.

Yeah, but surely if that person from Gamespot really was into DDR, he would've tried to get more info? Confused

Nah, it wasn't the person from Gamespot. This person actually gave us the Butterfly/Foot rating information the day before it was reported on IGN/Gamespot. This person was using a user on DDRCommunity/Other bemani places to report the info.

P.S. A bit of interesting info, a posted on 2ch reports that the double charts for Tracers and Taj He Spitz are "good" and "Technical".

Wasn't E3 supposedly a consumer expo before?... I remember they changed it in the recent years but no idea exactly when and why...
E3 was open to the public until last year, supposedly due to "overwhelming demand"

"Sarah/Autumn"
If I ever go to one of those, I've got to remember to bring a rubber mat or something to put under my pad so it won't slide.
I am a little jealous that you got to go to that, UG. Maybe after I join the Air Force I'll have the money to travel somewhere like there =P
Or even better, I could find a way to chalk it up as a "business trip".
Play my game Arcana Seal of Rimsala (SNES)!
