I come back with news of how much my experience of X2 is.

X2 couldn't handle Burning Heat on 3x, Reverse, Medium-arrow.

It decided to choke, die, and then reset. Taking 20 minutes to get back to playing.
After that, I decided not to try any more silly concoctions.

X2 didn't want me to fc. No, sir, it did not. So lol, Aegis, no fc for you. Last freeze arrows in songs and it doesn't register them. Either that or one jump in the end.

X2 did have sympathy though. You could miss like 50 arrows until your life gauge goes to 0. So I could pass faxx, pluto relinq, 888, all with bs stepping and no sweat. Like this:


X2 didn't have sympathy with its pad quality though. They sucked. So I had to break a sweat so pad misses would compensate for my stepping at all.

Eh, it's been like this since DDR X. While I'm still counting my PSMO pass (tough ) it's true that the life bar is extremely lenient. Also X2 pads can be pretty lol unless a) the arcade actually give a damn or b) you live in Japan.

OT: Would explain the gallons of tough passes I got when I played the DDR X upgrade in Barry Island. Pads were pretty good (P1 was), I SDG'd Raspberry Hearts on them. Whereas I only got once FC on X2 pads, which weren't upgrade (can't remember if dropped holds were involved, but I wouldn't be surprised haha).
