Are sub-event prizes given for points you have on personal score or team score?

Sub-event rewards are always only with personal score.

iirc sub-event prizes are based on individual scores, not the team score.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong though.

That's right. Sub-Event prizes, at least until now, always have been awarded based solely on player's personal score.

Regarding the event, it's going smoothly so far. I almost FCed SPLASH on my first try. Really nice song.

If sub event is individual, there should be an individual score indicator below the team total score point iirc

There's a big section that says "Personal Score" on the event page though, which iirc is how it is usually formatted when there is a team event.

As a side note, since almost everyone has the songs for the first round I went through hell to unlock Sapphire's charts so that people on my friends list can practice it if they get bored of rotating through the Event Songs (although surprisingly 現実幻覚スピードスター has a higher note count. Go figure).

Oh, fun fact: SPLASH is actually a short, slightly re-instrumented version of MAYA AKAI's tune from AD:TRANCE 4 (released Comiket 87), WaterStream.

How did everyone go on their sections? I had afkers on the other team, so it was an easy win, lets see how this sections comes, I don't want to play Sapphire, though I want the clear on it ;w;

Sapphire is just plain stupid :<
I played the MASTER chart something like 50 times to unlock it during Section 1 and I could never process what the chart was exactly asking me to do. The song is just too slow and the Hi-Speed doesn't go high enough to make it manageable to me. I'll personally be spending most of my Section 2 time on 現実幻覚スピードスター as it has a higher note count and is easier to process and read to me.

As for Section 1, me and cowtao got lucky as our entire opponent squad was a bunch of 0 RP dupe accounts. I still went a little hot and heavy so I could get a easier jump on trying to rank in the top 1000 after Section 2, although it's not really that I want the game skin. I just saw this event as a good excuse to throw a fair bit of money at CxB so I could put a good sized dent in the MASTER charts I still have to unlock. Figured I might as well aim for top 1000 for a nice skin at the same time.

Had an easy Section 1, as the other team were all dummy accounts. Gonna miss being able to play SPLASH regularly though.
