I dont know why some of you are making YOU Heavy out to be something horrendous when it really isn't.
It is a ballad so I really dont see the big problems with the turns, it's kind of fitting....
Plus it's at a really low bpm so its tolerable.

On top of that, Suele had horrible circle-turn spamming. All I see in YOU are half-spins a-la We Come Alive, at a slower BPM.

Let's argue for both sideshttp://i1213.photobucket.com/albums/cc461/Kamikazininjastriker/MsFortunePun_zps14d9567a.png

The song is slow, so it's not a big deal if you have to doublestep, which would only be a problem at a really fast speed anyway. There's no section where you have a lot of notes coming at once, which makes doing any of the crossovers/partial spins less troublesome. If it's really that much of an issue to play it, then don't. / The note placement is still pretty awkward at times, and the transitions between some of the steps are bit rude. It's not bad, but it's not a pretty stepchart, and should have been planned out a bit more. It might be slow, but that's no reason to make the player have to twist around like that.

I guess play it or don't, or just make an edit chart for yourself, whatever makes you sleep better at night.

Oh yeah, London EVOLVED's VOLTAGE rating is bumped down: 200→177. There's a new song with higher VOLTAGE.
What's the new song?

Nobody knows, all we know is just that London EVOLVED's VOLTAGE rating is bumped down.

btw since when did the arrows fade directly instead of through white when using HIDDEN/SUDDEN?

Also, looks like Polovtsian's video got slightly extended in the beginning.

I'm sure no one wants to read more about the new pads since we'll never see the new machines, but ICNH has reviewed the white machines.

I won't comment on 2013's performance on X cabs since I was only in Japan before 2013 upgrades dropped.

However, white cab's dropped freezes, slightly early timing, and pad misses were definitely my thing when I played ~20 songs double no bar on 3 of the cabs.

It seems that 100 is once again the last unlock, so wouldn't expect anything new from Enjoy levels.

I cannot believe how Konami could possibly release a game with very easy-to-reproduce crashes. It's shoddy QA, it's shoddy developer testing, it's shoddy production, the entire team really dropped the ball on this. Which is a shame since the songs and charts in the game are looking fantastic. How could Konami screw this up so badly? I really hope they're making amends to arcades and players for this, as a show of goodwill.

Surely Japan is smarter than to hire Betson and Raw Thrills to make their DDR games...

Konami is smart enough not to do to the Japanese market what they did to the American and European markets. But they're not immune to the temptation of cost-cutting... y'know, since the Japanese economy is in such terrible shape. But just looking at the cabinet (the CPU housing, not the stage), it's clear they took design cues from Betson to make it.

Sorry if this was asked already.

Extra stage is played with a forced battery dance meter with the batteries filled depending on the player's scores. The question is this.

What is the basis of the quantity of lives of battery dance meter on Extra stage? Is this the same as that of DDR supernova 2 or DDR X 1 or what could it be?

I thank those who can answer this accordingly.

Since X2 you always have 4 lives no matter what your score is.

Since the latest patch the white cabinet UI seems a bit more responsive. Didn't test the others yet. And now you have to press & hold the up and down arrows on song select to activate sort. I guess players kept setting it off on accident.

Since the product development team of Konami in charge of DDR has/have made/produced a third generation arcade cabinet, they should have made the video display TouchScreen capable and the game's user interface respond to it. Sad

and leave even more smudges on the screen. yeah, right. I don't see what's useful in having a touchscreen DDR, perhaps you got into the wrong thread. Here, allow me to redirect you to the correct place.

Is it true that DDR (2013 edition) requires Internet connection from time to time once it is up and running?

It requires an internet connection to be useful; the game will be receiving online updates every two months, and has already been patched like 3 times. There's not really much point to having it offline.
