Interesting Little Things in DDR

-While 4thMIX PLUS had S-Maniac charts for Singles, it did not for Doubles.

Butterfly Upswing, Do It All Night, Dynamite Rave, Flashdance, Follow The Sun, Have You Never Been Mellow, Stomp To My Beat, Vol.4 and Xanadu all got new doubles charts in 4th Mix Plus.

I think you're confused about what "S-Maniac" is.

The songs that were new Maniac charts simply had their Maniac charts replaced with the new ones. After selecting a song, the player is taken to a difficulty select screen that lets them select from Basic, Trick, Maniac and Battle Mode.

If you press the down panel twice on this screen, it will take you to a screen which allows you to select Edit Data. As well as any edit data on your memory card, all the songs with new Maniac steps will have a file called "S-Maniac" or "D-Maniac" pre-installed on the machine. These charts are the original (easier) Maniac charts to the song.

^ On top of that during 4th Mix Plus, Flashdance and Dynamite Rave only had new double charts and not single ones (which explains why Dynamite Rave in DDR Extreme has freeze arrows).

PARANOiA Revolution has a couple chart. P1 side is pretty much the usual single chart, P2 is the P1 side with left and right swapped.

One different thing is that there's a rouge jump in it.

Okie, I just looked thoroughly at LOVE IS THE POWER's background video, most importantly the X3 VS 2ndMIX part.

Both side has the intro video, normal gameplay and final boss.

X3 side:
Gameplay displays Sumidagawa Karenka on S-BASIC.
Final boss shows London EVOLVED, and then Tohoku EVOLVED being FC-ed.

2ndMIX side
Gameplay displays what appears to be BRILLIANT 2U (Orchestra Groove).
Final boss shows TRIP MACHINE EVOLUTION, and then PARANOiA Revolution up to the door-close part.

Most probably they are using a special build of X3 for this, because in X3's side:
-First, the screen shows the songlist, with TWINKLE HEART being the first, and all the songs up to SILVER DREAM in there.
-Then the screen blinks for a short time to a DATA SAVE screen, showing DANCER ID "DDR X3" with ENJOY LEVEL 56 getting a DAILY STAR.
-Which then fades quickly to London EVOLVED being selected.
-Then there's Tohoku EVOLVED being selected from the select music screen.
-It fades to the second to last jump, then it was FCed with a score pacemaker of -720 (apparently).
