The Official DDR Accomplishments Thread (Read first post, NO STEPMANIA OR ITG)

Depending on who you ask, as much as 40% of the US has no broadband option, and a great deal more have very limited "broad"band that may as well just be fast dialup. Yeah, I'm disappointed in the future too. Well, the future here at least. The connection speeds in Japan are insane compared to most of the world.

Well, since we are on a new page now, the 56k warning can be temporarily halted for this current page...for the moment anyways.


Okay, I played the vs 2nd course since I figured I would PFC at least some of the course and see later which songs I never did have AAAd all those years ago due to lack of availability or whatever.

I got 1 great on I Believe in Miracles, but I already had that from DDR Extreme, so no biggy. Next I saw the songs and compared against what I already had in my Excel chart and I still ended up getting 2 "new" ones out of it:

AAA #1341 - Have You Never Been Mellow Expert Single
AAA #1342 - Stomp to my Beat Expert Single

(The others: My Fire, Let's Get Down, Boom Boom Dollar and I Believe in Miracles, I already had.)



And here is the song unlocked at Enjoy Level 30. It sounds and plays similar to Memories. It has quite a messed up ending but it was semi-nostalgic to play something resembling Memories after all these years.

(The Expert Double chart is actually pretty tricky though; I'll get that another time)

Once again, minor achievements in comparison to most things in this thread but I've managed to get my first pass on some of these charts

• A
• AFRONOVA
• DROP OUT

I got an A on 'A' (lol) and DROP OUT, buuuuut I think I only got a B on AFRONOVA, possibly a C, can't remember too well 'cause I've only passed it the one time. I've passed 'A' and DROP OUT a few times now but only managed to get the A grade on DROP OUT more than once.

Also pretty proud of an A grade on fascination ~eternal love mix~

See for yourself. It is pretty straightforward until around step 150. Actually, Recue Me's chart on single is differen from Memories too, though it varies a bit more/has awkward step placement in the last half of the double stepchart.



And in other news, on New Year's Eve I met up with an online user from my forums and we played a set. I didn't get anything new though I did manage to beat my old score on Amalgamation by a tiny bit:

Same here. I was a little bit shock because on the time I play it I use x2, and I thought this will be a hard time because I always play A on x1.5 and yet I still got a B. Beyond my imagination, I succeeded to get an A.

I knocked off a few more of the annoying/tricky ones from the default list. Heavy Rotation is pretty straightforward but it has that gradual slowdown near the end. I hate such things but rather than being a scrub I figured I should just work to get better at them. Well, it worked anyways. I also unlocked another song along the way. It was pretty easy on both single and double; just a tad slow.

Tried Fascination MAXX for the first time today, got a B. I'm happy enough with that for now, I'll work on A'ing it next time I play!

Also, nearly FC'd Dragon Blade too. Was pretty pissed to see 2 "GOOD"s when the results screen came up >_>

As I said on AIJ, amazing as usual, Derek. I tried for Crazy Love but in reality I'll probably get the double chart for that first (it seems much easier to me anyways)

Also, I picked up 4 new ones, one of them only because I was playing with someone that already had all the unlocks so I got one ahead of its time for me. Then I unlocked Seule and got that on single/double, so it was a good day DDR-wise.

Yep number 5! I came really close to passing Possession yesterday as well(NEED MORE STAMINA!!!!)

I've also come close to passing FELM as well(soooo many jumps!!!)

Mei is pretty easy though from the beginning, but the end of it seriously requires flat-footing(which I somehow did) Video Coming Soon!
