OK , back to topic. What do you think about licensed songs quality for DDR X? I think licensed songs for DDR X not taken from DanceMania again. No more Captain Jack ? Smile.dk ?

It looks like we'll be getting a few remixes, like the Butterfly and Dub-I-Dub remixes appearing in X CS. But it looks like Toshiba and Konami's deal fell through, so there may not be many new Dancemania songs. However, there are going to be 20 licenses according to am-net, so it looks like they found a good replacement.

Basically because it's been a while after a Dancemania release and the contract with Toshiba EMI has expired

Dude he died like 3 years ago, it's pretty old news.

"Remix" is very misleading. They are edits. Minor, but important, point. I expect the songs to be the very same songs we know from before, re-cut from the longer versions.

On CAPTAIN JACK...
Just because an artist is dead doesn't mean their songs are taboo for DDR.

Max 300 (I Fail, But I do it about Every 2 Games on the Final Round)
Superstar (About 2nd or 3rd Round)
Let's Groove (Love Freestyling to it)
and
Saint Goes Marching (Can only pass it with a C, but i'm starting to love it)

even more than that, he was filming another movie while TDK was in post-production. he died during that one. i dont know much about it(to include the title), but apparently its kind of a quantum leap kind of thing, and they made it to where in each time period he looks different(and got guys like johnny depp to play him in the other time periods) instead of reshooting his scenes.

Remember the song shown in the middle two screenshots that we couldn't figure out? Although it doesn't look like any song that's been confirmed, look at the artist name: Does that look like "Ruffage & Size" to anyone else? The title doesn't match seem to match "Tracers (4Beat Remix)" though. So, maybe we're getting another Ruffage & Size song?

I thought it did match.

I'm pretty sure it's Tracers 4Beat too because I can see the prongs for 4 in the title, just faintly but enough to be discernible.
