So I've got a lovely spambot on YouTube talking about "sub4sub" crap on a private message. I don't get how they target lesser-known channels like mine when there are higher-profile channels to spam to. Why me?

Are you sure it's a spambot? I used to get messages asking for "sub4sub" all the time from people who apparently measured e-peen in number of subscribers.

It's pretty obvious why people only target lowly members. They woudn't stand a chance with people who have the sub count, as they'd instantly assume those people would know that they're talking shit. They assume that low sub count means the user isn't experienced, so they'd believe it'd be easier to con them.
Of course, this is the Internet, where most people don't fall for this shit anymore.

From what I've heard, the most tainted of Tomino's "Kill 'em all!" (beyond the "everyone except one minor character dies at the end" that was so common back then in his works) initiative in the Gundam series was V Gundam, and the tone just seems so gloomy early on the series (I stopped at the part where most of the Shrike Team has been KIA and the leader is thinking of doing a Kamikaze attack at the next encounter). Avoid if you hate those kind of things.

So I had a good day yesterday playing doubles on DDR EXTREME (Megamix Bootleg). I even got a couple of personal records which made me feel pretty good. Still having some trouble on some songs but I just need a little practice (and a better monitor, pads, and some water!)

Third spam account on my ass saying they liked the video I uploaded today (which I never did, last upload was on the weekend), and telling me to go to the sub4sub web site (which I know is phishing/scam). I've reported this issue to Google, but they still won't do a thing to stop them or even tighten the registration security.
Even more, I've reported another channel's background graphic violation (for flashing a cock obviously), and two days later, both the user wasn't suspended (which would be a third strike if caught), or the background wasn't removed. WTF Google?!
So yeah, I'm pissed that whenever I block a channel, another bot channel goes on my ass with a "sub4sub" shit.

Yeah I've gotten a few of those spam PM's as well. I just delete them and move on. I know Google won't do squat to fix that right off the bat because most big companies are like that.
