Not trying to go off-topic here, but that's why I said difficulty =/= fun instead of "harder =/= fun" or something like that. In my opinion, it doesn't really matters if a song is hard/easy as long as is fun.

Even if i played some versions of roppongi a lot i prefer spin the disc. Some stops in the roppongi version (or bpm change for the ver.D) really sucks. Also i know it's the point to have 4 times the same song (i mean half the same song) but i don't like that. I would prefer a kickass version with the best part of all versions. But that's not the point here, talking about charts... and i had more fun with Spin the Disc (even if i'm one of the people that complains a lot by the lack of hard (hard AND good) charts in ddr)

Yeah, if the lovely Xenon were here I would have gone for that in a heartbeat. Roppongi's about as fun, I guess.

... actually, how did ALL of these get so far? The only one I actually like at this point is Rhythm and Police and it < Sakura < Pierce the Sky < Tsugaru < Possession. Personally, I'd give Valkyrie the #1 (for standard, anyway) but know it has like no shot at really winning. xP

I guess when it comes down to it BOTH of these songs flow pretty well and depends on ones skill level in which one you enjoy. Personally I'm more of a fan of StD as I think DDR games need more 70sish house music. Sure it could use more difficulty (which NEMEsetup made an excellent 9 challenge edit for this) but the songs fun with a great sense of slow and works for me as a great warm-up. I'm not so crazy about random stops and bpm changes so I guess I have that strike against the evolved series.

I just like Spin The Disc more. Both songs are great fun, but Spin the Disc is the perfect 8-footer, something to kind of get loose too. Sorry Roppongi!
