Yeah, I think the Wii version looks really great graphically. The only thing(s) for me is that I would prefer it be a traditional song wheel, and I'd prefer banners instead of the Universe-esque CD art.
I love the new look and I actually thought the Wii version was the 360 one for a second before I realised which one it really was. I can't speak for the rest of the world but I know that more casual players here in the UK will love seeing album art for the licences, also I prefer for Konami to either choose thin banners or full album art style ones over the weird Hottest Party mid-sized ones.

Okay first off, when looking at the Wii video, notice they character selection is much different and plus, there's now a Random button for Random Male and Random Female too!
Notice the loading screens are different too.
At 1:07 and throughout the whole video you can see a reconfirmation of MULTIDIRECTIONAL HAND MARKERS!
Notice too that the direction of the Wii Remote and Hand Markers are "fixed" once you start the song.
Also notice that there are circle around the Hand Markers? That's definitely something that's been carried over from DDR Disney Grooves.
As for Dynamite Rave, I don't really mind the whole lyric change since I never really played a DR chart/song before in any DDR.
As for the PS2 vid, all I could hear in the BKGD was that annoying announcer! Ugh....
Also, this guy is seriously an idiot. Clearly does not how to do it properly and lacks motivation not to mention rhythm.

Those mid sized banners probably had everything to do with keeping them looking as sharp as possible while dealing with the stretching and shrinking of the screen elements that comes with dealing with anamorphic wide screen options. It has to look the best way possible in both 16:9 and 4:3 and making them larger probably helps alleviate some of the trashing of the image quality when you do that. Of course, there's always the option of just having 4:3 video output which gets around that entirely, however you run the risk of pissing off those who like the wide screen option.

I hate to echo AceJay on your post darknight06 but I'm afraid I'm going to have too. I don't see what screen resolution had to do with the Hottest Party banners, I assumed it was just an aesthetic thing Konami decided to do to mix things up a bit and maybe use up a bit of extra screen space so that the select music screen wouldn't look too empty.
Anyway the only thing I DON'T like about the Wii version so far is the risk of only 50 songs, 60+ I could deal with but less than the PS2 would just seem extremely lazy on Konami's part. The Wii version should at least match the PS2 one for song amount seeing as Konami aren't taking advantage of the Wii's online capabilities for DLC. I can't imagine why they wouldn't and if I were them I'd give Neversoft and Vicarious Visions a call and ask them for advice on Wii DLC so that I could make some more money!
The PS2 version looks decent, like a better adaptation of X's interface, but DEAR GOD Konami needs to get rid of that new announcer. Also the lack of certain music videos as someone else pointed out has me wondering if some will be missing from the PS2 version. I don't hate the dancing characters and the ones in the Wii version are pretty good aside from the slight bloat-y head syndrome they should go to Theme Hospital to get fixed, at least they follow some nice patterns and actually STOP DANCING when the song ends unlike their PS2 equivalents.

Let me rephrase it, let's just hope that they have and option to turn off the announcer in the PS2 version, but as for the PS3 version, who knows WHAT announcer we will get? Could we get this "ghettofied" announcer or can we choose from the different announcers from past games? We have yet to fully see a demo of the PS3/360 demo, so whoever the announcer is for the PS3/360 version is still a mystery...in before someone goes "EXTREME dance play settings lol"
...just hope it's not THOSE guys from X

As much that sounds awesome, but the main one (Donald LaFontaine) died in September

Thanks kp_centi!
