The Official DDR Accomplishments Thread (Read first post, NO STEPMANIA OR ITG)

First off, I didn't say anything yet but holy shit vanillaninja1, that Valkyrie is totally beast. I'm assuming you did that on pad. Also, does DDR II force 1x on you? Either way, it's a total beast of a score, nearly comparable to the current WR on it of 995,xxx

I haven't posted scores in a while now, not because I haven't got any but because of how busy I've been and with being in Japan last weekend. It's a bit crazy all the stuff I want to post so to make it more manageable I'll post it in a few parts and spread it out a little. I'll start by just my new SDP's.

Obviously I'm most proud of that Fire Fire which was done on a dedicab. I've knocked dedicabs about the lag timing in the past but this time around, even though a lot of the lag I hated was still there, I noticed on certain songs like 150 or 180BPM were much easier to MA hence why I got that fire fire on my 2nd warm up song of the day before KAC 2011.

I know, none of them are PFC's, but I'm happy I still got 4 in a row even though people do that all the time. I didn't even try the encore because my legs were really tired from playing for 4 hours before.

Ooh, whereabouts are you playing, Parafox? Yeah, I found with X3 that the songs seem very long and even though they are overall fairly straightforward, there always seems to be one or two places with some bizarre pattern or something to catch you off-guard to stop a PFC (that or just a random great somewhere along the line)

I play at Round1 in Saga or even Round1 at Fukuoka. But yeah, I agree, I just get random greats along the way, but someday I hope to get a PFC at an arcade. Tips would also be nice for a beginner like me. It'd be cool to play near an area where other people like you play.

In the mean time, I'm stuck trying to play this song. Foolish of me to think that I could pass that little stream at the end. Oh well, I hope to get it soon regardless of how impossible it seems for me to do.

Er.. I full combo'd Under The Sky on an old SuperNOVA cabinet in a local arcade?
I only have access to a run-down old SuperNOVA cab and a slightly broken X2 cab which is a lot further away, so I don't get to play often. I can pass [SAKURA] with a B, I can pass bag on 3x, aaaaaand I have no problem consecutively passing fascination ~eternal love mix~ on Difficult.
Not bad for 3 months eh? I really wanna just pass Max 300 though, I can't move my feet that damn fast. Any advice?

I also tried Wicked Platik on double. That chart is vastly different from the single one. It doesn't have the weird rhythms in the last half but the whole song is repeated taps across both stages with some 16th patterns thrown in for good measure.

This was going to become the World Record, but I just had to totally space out after one of the holds and completely screw up >_< I am really starting to adjust a bit better to SN2... And I might try to get that world record again as well.

I got way more then that as well. Those are just the ones worth noting imo. I am actually a bit behind on youtube videos because I have been acquiring so many. I'll post about those sometime soon as some of them are really challenging AAA's. 5th Mix has been treating me pretty well, and because of the nice wheather here in Illinois as of late I have been able to play in my garage to get more AAA's on 5th mix. This really wasn't the winter I was expecting at all. There was maybe a week of just freezing cold temps so far but that is it.

I'll try to notify everyone again when I do another one. This one was more of a "test" to see how well everything went. btw the video stream started pretty bad because of the cameras zoom, but I improved it a bit after about 11 minutes. This is a 2 hours stream where I acquired 5 new AAA's.
