I need a quick fix. I'm trying to save banners and background on my laptop but when I do, I get a "Can't save files w/o admin permission" note when I'm the admin. I know it was like this when I first got this thing but completely forgot how to fix it. Anyone know how?

Ok I got it. It will not let me save in program files, so i just cut the stepmania folder and put in on the desktop and it's working now.

Moving the Stepmania folder to the Desktop may not work in SM5 due to registry additions. You can move it, but Stepmania 5 may not run at all or may have crashes.

I always install stepmania inside my documents folder. I have direct access to it without any problem with saving sm files and it doesn't clutter the desktop.

Or you could put it in a flashdrive and work on things quickly there.
