Sorry if this was posted and asked already.

If play style is Versus, are the groove radar and selection of difficulty of both players separate?

If yes, please provide proof (Showing me a picture is OK for me) if possible.

Thank you in advance.
IIRC, yes.

Uma Uma Song (Carameldansen) lineout:

http://www.nicoviewer.net/sm20466979

Was that really needed? I mean, Caramelldansen has been years out to make a proper "lineout" Tongue

EDIT: silly me, for the steps.

Oh wait, he meant in separate" PARTS in the music selection screen", not separate as "in versus, the two players play in the same difficulty, both having the same radar".
Question elaboration fail.

I think what he meant by "separate" is there are two separate radar for Player 1 and Player 2

I would think so, if not then it would kind of kill the point of having two radars.

The staff at the Round One where KOU1 (who wrote the note and took the photo in my post above) plays are so upset and furious with Konami over the X cabs crashing all the time they demanded they swap out their cabinets with the new white ones at no cost. (If they did that nobody could score well on the pads but at least the game would work)

KOU1:

the X3 at Round1 USA Puente Hills likes crashing on certain songs too... iirc it was Dirty Digital that failed for me though. Given the state of the white pads I sadly don't think Konami does test DDR...

edit: please tell that Round1 to send their cabs to the US we could use amazing pads over here

double post:

I believe this is news:

Not really news, just showing the BEMANI selection folders and how they are using not GITADORA but GFDM XG.

But since when were the BEMANI selection groups restored? I thought X3 didn't have them...

Well even though the newest game is named GITADORA, it's still the XG series.

Gitadora has been the name of the combined series since 2001, but they've always referred to the games seperately as "Guitar Freaks and DrumMania" within other games for branding reasons.

The newest game simply being called "Gitadora" without any numbering or subtitles is just mirroring what they've done with DDR - Dance Dance Revolution is the latest game in the Dance Dance Revolution series, just as Gitadora is the latest game in the Gitadora series.

An excellent reference for those who want to list the title of songs in its original order.

what

ok so for everyone who cares:
SERIES TITLE sort:
-folder other than DDR2013 -> licenses followed by KOs, each subgroup sorted alphabetically with songs starting with non-alphanumerical character at the end (japanese titles, .59, etc.)
-DDR2013 folder -> licenses followed by KOs followed by ENJOY LEVEL unlocks (in unlocking order), ends with boss songs.
