DDR X2 (AC) (International)

The very reason why arcade games should've included content from the ULTRAMIX and UNIVERSE series. Granted, most are crossovers, but there were some originals in there, especially from ULTRAMIX 3 onwards.

When I see D2R , B2U , B4U , Drivin' Vids and some other songs from Naoki like Red Zone, it seems he loves Car Races.

A fair number of songs that originated in DDR have been sent to the other series as well, and those other series have had their songs sent back and forth. I think it says a lot for Konami's music industry that this eco system exists at all. Show me another video game company that has such a strong musical repertoire that was created in-house. And you've also got music coming from outside of Bemani into Bemani games (Gradius, Metal Gear) and music from Bemani games going outside of Bemani (Rumble Roses, Zone of Enders).

Cross-pollination is an integral part of of a Bemani game, I don't think it's a sign of laziness. Konami's gotta have a million fans hounding at the doors demanding that their favourite song from pop'n, IIDX, GF&DM, etc. be in DDR. It makes sense that they look at a catalog of music and think 'we've already written this song specifically for music video games and we're getting all kinds of requests for them, so why not?'.

What made EXTREME great was not only the crossover list but the revivals. I think without LET'S GET DOWN, SAINTS GO MARCHING (REMIX), and DAM DARIRAM the game would have felt weak even with the crossovers. SuperNOVA and SuperNOVA 2 were great but since X Konami has decided to revive a number of old tracks and not just regurgitate the old songs but re cut them and re step them. This DDR fan is very happy because of that. And it looks like they intend to keep doing that with the IF YOU WERE HERE rumour (Konami if you're listening; MY FIRE). They've found a winning formula... that includes bringing on the crossovers, even ones that are going to look goofy on a dance pad (She is My Wife).

I think that even though we're hearing way too much about crossovers now, they're not going to take over the game. They'll hold the unique ones back until closer to launch date and has even one word been said about licenses? Me thinks they're hamming up the IIDX songs because of AOU. Gotta sell based on your crowd.

Don't get me wrong.... i love those IIDX crossovers, I actually want more... but just because IIDX music is great, more variety would be a good sign like GF&DM, P'n'M and Jubeat. (discounting KOs)... i hope they put some pretty Background Videos for some songs (ala SuperNOVA2).

Except the amount of DDR songs sent to other series is nowhere makes up 14% of the other game. All I'm saying is don't over do it, otherwise we might as well call it DDR X2 -IIDX EDITION-.

I don't care about the crossovers as long as the [doubles] charts are good. People also seem to forget that they're only showing crossovers for the time being, with CG Project and Decade - or whatever it's called - being the two songs they're featuring as of now.

Where's nekomata master? I'd like to see some of his music on ddr.

I'm glad the arcade is getting some new infos, sure wished the cs has some new news.....

Why would there be information on the console version before the arcade version came out, especially since North America has already gotten a console release for this?
