Romaji name of this song so that I can understand what you're talking about?
Meisai Idol Aimu-Chan. A ridiculously annoying song from IIDX 23 Copula.

I thought y'all liked HinaBitter? Well I guess every artist makes one flop song.

That song is horrible in my opinion, and I enjoyed Denpa Metal to a certain extent so that must say something.

Nope, only weeaboos. And the otakus in Japan. And people who play Sound Voltex in Japan
Speaking of ARM, he will become a regular composer for the localized version of this game. Is this a bad thing? I dunno. Do you like the music ARM produces? Nope. The only good song in my opnion from ARM is the.one from IIDX COPULA.
Also, all the popular DDR songs be removed forever. Including the newer ones.

Speakin of Hinabitter, Konami will run a highly advertised contest to offer stylized bitters to the first player of each arcade who passes めいさいアイドル☆あいむちゃん 666 times!

I understand that most of these "mess up" suggestions are sarcastic, but I'd like to chime in with suggestions that are rather serious, so I'll post it in this thread in the hopes that it's okay.
#5. No online capabilities
Rationale: When DDR had its peak in North America (early 2000s before the ITG era), online gaming services were just getting started and not really refined. Today, however, gaming services like live streaming and downloadable content are very commonplace. Though I enjoy DDR X2 at Funhaven, I'd like to see my high scores not just on the machine, but online as well to share my progress.
#4. No Solo cabinet (about 30% less costly than two-player cabinets)
Rationale: Popular games like Pac-Man, racers and Terminator typically offer various budget options. For example Pac-Man Battle Royale (4P VS) has regular (cocktali) for ~US$5K and deluxe (four portals and large screen) for typically > double cost. Terminator has regular (32-inch LCD) for ~US$6.5K and deluxe (42-inch) for ~US$8K. In Ottawa, there is a Terminator regular at budget-friendly Rainbow Cinemas and Deluxe at pricier cinemas. Also, I saw at least two Pac-Man deluxe at Cineplex in Toronto, but two Pac-Man regular (only) at Cineplex in Ottawa. Some places don't have the budget for two-player DDR, but would gladly give Solo a chance.
#3. No songs from ITG
Rationale: Some hardcore ITG players refuse to play DDR, vouching to only play songs from vanilla ITG but also inclining more towards song packs. Given that Konami acquired ITG and that ITG is essentially an Americanized version of DDR, it would be favourable for Konami attract dancers by having at least most ITG songs for North American releases of the latest DDR version.
#2. No upgrade kits for older cabinets like Extreme, ITG (!), SuperNOVA and X series
Rationale: Replacing ITG cabinets may seem like a shocking idea to some, but I heard at least four instances of the Boxor failing, presumably. In Ottawa, Merivale had a faulty motherboard and Midway had a faulty graphics card. Though replacements were found, they took a long time to arrive and may eventually be unavailable. The cabinets themselves (monitors, speakers, lights and even pads) tend to have less issues. Moreover, two Extremes at Cineplex (Toronto and Montréal) were upgraded to ITG, only to later be reverted to DDR Extreme. Similarly, some DDR cabinets have issues isolated to the PS2 or PC, as is the case for SuperNOVA at Midway and DDR X at Scotiabank Theatre Toronto. The point is, if the cabinet ain't broke, why fix it? I personally find the Extreme cabinets to be the most durable, but frankly, songs are very old. To see them run the latest DDR (2014 or later) would be refreshing.
#1. No availability in Canada
Rationale: Well, I'm the webmaster for a Canadian fan site (see my siggy), and dance games has quite the presence in the few cities (Ottawa, Toronto and Montréal) that my site covers. I found over two dozen machines (DDR, ITG and PIU) in those three cities alone and the list isn't even complete there, let alone for the rest of Canada. It wouldn't surprise me if the country has 100 machines today, with at least 50 decent ones. Nintendo tested the Wii Mini in Canada first, so maybe Konami could do the same with the latest DDR?

#1 might happen if D&B decides to put cabs in Canada (assuming there are D&B locations in Canada), but 4 and 3 are definitely not happening since there haven't been solo cabs in years and they'd still have to license ITG songs for DDR.

#4. No Solo cabinet (about 30% less costly than two-player cabinets)
The Solo cabinet is probably not feasible since creating the charts/cabinet for 6 panels would have to be something that Bemani itself would have to undertake, which is very unlikely. If the Solo cabinet was to have only 4 panels (which would be more reasonable), I would imagine a significant backlash from players who feel a missed opportunity of the Solo setup, which would negatively impact DDR's (and Konami's) reputation.

They stopped making solo because it wasn't fun for them to make charts for and they didn't feel the players had enough fun with the mode, so I sincerely doubt that there would ever be another solo cabinet.

I think they mean solo as in oneplayer, not as in six-panel.

Precisely. :-) It would be one player with four panels, not the additional panels found in the original Solo. I think it's a great option not only for budget-minded businesses, but also for smaller-spaced buildings. For example, I have a tough time imagining where a full two-player DDR would fit at Cineplex Lansdowne or other such locations. A Solo cabinet, however, would fit in quite easily.Post #138 · Posted at 2016-01-26 06:16:34am 9.6 years ago

Would not be surprised if this happened.
BEMANI gets kicked out of KONAMI in the next few months, just like Kojima Productions. Then they make a partnership with Nintendo or something and as a result, Rinon gets into Smash, and we get DDR 2016 on the NX a year late.

DDR 2014 2016: WINX CLUB
That's right, a re-release of DDR Winx Club...but for arcades and for the first time in North America!
Sounds like good news, right? Especially because the best BEMANI song ever, 0/1 ANGEL, was in this game...
WRONG!
To fit in with American culture, all the KONAMI originals will be removed and replaced by songs hand-picked by a team of 7-year-old girls from across America! Kiss your beloved A.I. Techno song - and all the other great songs which made people who didn't even like Winx Club want to try DDR Winx Club - goodbye!

Have you seen Boom Boom Dollar's banner? Have you seen the beta banner that was hidden in the codes of Xanadu?
That is those kind of graphics that they would make with MS PAINT. Maybe not even, probably Doodle Buddy.
