I was thinking something like beatmania IIDX's difficulty scale which is 1-12.

REFLEC difficulty scale definitely feels due for a change, probably in the next game, since there isn't anything else left to change lol.

The Mystical Strike songs details are out :

Leviathan : Proluvies - かめりあ - 5/8/10+
Requirement : In a single credit, play songs that are related to the ocean (海神, Lindwurm, Special Summer Campaign, Kailua, Water Horizon, Nagisa no Koakuma - Lovely Radio-, Little Flipper, MANA, Elisha).

Vampire : WICKeD CRᶲSS - OSTER project- 4/7/10+
Requirement : In a single credit, play these songs. (DRAGON KILLER, THE SAFARI -DJ TOTTO mix-. Snow Eagle, Kyoukimuramasa, Adularia, Good-bye Chalon, Cleopatrysm)

Griffon : Gale Rider - P*Light - 4/7/10+
Requirement : In a single credit, clear all songs with a AAA rank (AAA+ are not allowed).

Chimera : Cytokinesis - Hommarju - ?/?/10+
Requirement : In a single credit, play one song from each genre.

Cyclops : Giant Strength - RoughSketch - 4/7/10
Requirement : In a single credit, play songs that appear on the original Reflec Beat.

Ashura : 鬼天 - 兎々 - ?/7/10
Requirement : In a single credit, play songs that would spell out the word アシュラ. (ie. ARACHNE --> Schwarzschild's Field --> Like+it!)

For the event itself, when you do a requirement, once you finish the game, there will be a special screen where you'll move up on a road, depending on the number of song you played (3/4 or less if you forcefully retired). Once you advance 15 times, you play an One More Stage against the boss (impossible to defeat in one try)
Once the boss has been fought at least once, you can challenge it again in normal play with the use of the radar
The radar will charge itself when playing.
Though those normal plays fights are not with the boss song but with a song of your choice (so you can actually do other boss requirements at the same time).
Each boss has weakness as well (for example, Leviathan is weak to "electric" song, like Thunderbolt)

It's a good event so far, it'll take some time though (at least 4 credits per boss to reach them, then 1-2 fight to unlock them)
I wonder what will be the last boss (done by Fukase this time)
Also, Proluvies is a first-sight killer, ultra slow song ^^

My idea for the difficulty of Reflec Beat charts: introduce a modified version of the DDRX scale.

Maximum is 20.

Everything's current difficulty is multiplied by 1.6 (So a current 10 would become a 16). Certain songs would be moved up or down depending on how they are considered up against other songs in their current difficulty. So Sakura Reflection would drop to a 15, for example.

Easy 10+, such as Bad Maniacs [H], Water Horizon, Stray March, FLOWER [H], Broken etc. become 17.

Hard 10+, such as FLOWER [SP], fffff, STULTI become 18.

Three charts become 19: CLAMARE, Bad Maniacs [SP], and it seems Onslaught will join them.

I bet you anything MAX MAXIMIZER haunted the staff into making a monster of a Hard chart out of this song, like they did with CLAMARE.

I really don't know which is worse: Fukase effecting Max Burning EXH...(to quote TVTropes, "PHQUASE confessed that he created the [Max Burning!! Exhaust chart] specifically so that anyone playing on sightread it will 'die', 'fail', or any of those variants and that DJ YOSHITAKA at one point attempted to stop him from doing so.")

...or writing a REFLEC BEAT song with a Hard chart that just broke the record for number of objects in any chart (even more than Bad Maniacs Special...but let's not go there...)

Man, I can't express how much I love the Roughsketch and Totto song.

I don't think there's a bad song in this MYSTICAL STRIKE event. onslaught is ok but everything else is fantastic. My top 3 are Proluvies, Giant Strength, and Gale Rider. Cytokinesis would make a brutal stepchart if it came to DDR.

Proluvies and Cytokinesis are my favorite. I litterally spend all my credits today playing Cytokinesis again and again (that chart is loads of fun!)
Also, I finally unlocked Onslaught...and oh my god, this chart is hell.
For the record, I was able to sight-read clear Clamare when it appeared (even if I barely had any HP left), but here I got destroyed at not even half the song. I'm not even sure I want to try getting better at that chart for now...

Also, a (maybe stupid) question, but how do you upload the screenshot of the game from the e-appli to the net?

From the e-amuse application, post the pictures you have onto your timeline.

I gave the groovin'-colette OST a listen through.

...It's the greatest BEMANI OST release. Hands down. Not a single song on the four discs was bad, even the IOSYS track and its extended version was good.
