If you rotate it 180 degrees and flip it horizontally, you can make out the following text:

アーケードDDR SuperNOVA 2、または北米DDR SuperNOVA 2家庭用に収録しか新曲

Which basically says:

Arcade DDR SuperNOVA2 and North American DDR SuperNOVA2 Home Version New Songs

Probably just means Malacca and dazzle are pretty much confirmed.

Anyway, I think if it meant that the SN2 NA CS originals were going to be in it, then it would've said SuperNOVA2 twice. I'm probably wrong, but that's just what I think.

It'd be "uberly" fun if ALL the planet songs are there.

Also, are they going to put either the Alison Side, jun Side, or both sides, just like they did with Flow on SuperNOVA JP?

Well, SUNKiSS DROP does not appear as two separate songs on the song list. The game just randomly picks which music to play (It seems to pick the Alison Side most often though).

I imagine the JP PS2 version will handle it as the AC does, with maybe a way to manually switch between the two sides.

it will probably pull a distorted CS and let you pick, like holding select when you pick why did you go away.

Bump: MIEYA has posted a photo of the SuperNOVA2 CS Japan poster and the poster has confirmed a couple more songs for us, including a new CS exclusive.

It's great to see that Blind Justice made it in, although I'm very curious about newer songs like puzzle, SAGA, The flower in your smile and TimeHollow. Everyone would wanna hear what it sounds like.

Aside from songs like Freeway Shuffle, Paranoia Hades, A Thing Called Love and TimeHollow (for now at least) Are there other songs that have the possibility of having music videos?

Venus and Trust have videos in arcade....

and Time Hollow seems to have one too (judging from the screenshots)

hmm that reminds me that i think all planet songs should be in the JP Console. Because mars war 3 and venus been confrimed don't you think.

I have a hard time believing they would put the planet songs on the JP version, but not the US version.

But, you know, Japan always gets more in terms of DDR, so they might.

It's kind of a trend that we're stuck with... We get about half of the new songs (making up about a third of the list), random stuff from previous mixes we haven't gotten yet, the the rest is licenses and repeated CS/AC songs. Japan tends to get almost direct arcade ports which also include the new CS KO songs we just got, along with the ones they get, and a few other randomly picked songs. Europe gets about the same deal as Japan, but the licenses aren't generally as good.

Actually, it's more like the US, with fewer, and worse licences. Very rarely, we get better stuff than the US (thanks, lack of internet! Honey Punch 'n' that a year early!)

I'm really OCD, and that Puzzle banner's pieces make me want to go put together a jigsaw now. I don't have any lying around, though.

And as far as planet songs in CS versions, it makes no sense why they wouldn't put them in. They weren't in SN2 US CS, but they were good songs. Maybe KONAMI was trying to create reasons for players to go to the arcade so they can sell more arcade units? The planet song content on SN2 AC was probably finished before SN2 CS (any version) was completed, so it makes me wonder why they didn't put in such good content.

Ooh...Yet another JP CS exclusive? That brings us to 4 now. I'm guessing there will be a CS exclusive 10, since the recent arcade->Console ports have had Console 10s. Extreme had Max. and SuperNOVA had Trim.

This may just be Outer Limits, but still, I really hope that Konami might be able to pull off a fun, normal 10, a bit like PRH (without the end 8th runs o' doom).
