Ok, sooo... You took 4th Mix plus songs, left all of the steps and grpahics unchanged and added AMVs in the background.

That's cool, but if you'd come in here and said "I'm trying to find AMVs of DDR songs, can you help me" instead of "I'm making the greatest stepmania pack ever. It is on such high quality, I need you to send me hard drives! Stay tuned for more!", then everything would have made sense, and we wouldn't have had to watch torture porn on your youtube account.


I was really tempted to take a Boom Boom Dollar simfile, and add the video of Ariel Heart getting drilled up the ass, but I'm guessing porn companies are probably quicker to sue over theft of content than Spannish AMV makers :{

That is certainly a lot of DDR songs, i'm assuming that eventually there will be a lot more files specifically made for stepmania.

Duplicates: Different simfiles and miscellaneous Stepmania Packages have different beats per minute rates and offsets. The Greatest Of Stepmania does not require that a song can only be featured once. Great steps are rewarded regardless. Instead duplicate songs are used to employ different music videos.

Low Resolution Freestyle Videos: Far too many qualified freestyle videos are only available in low resolution. I have not been able to find a single master tape for any of these videos yet. Since the content of the video is great they get to be in the project.

Deviant Art Picture Music Videos: Far too many great Deviant Arts to possibly ignore. They are a good part of dance game fandom.

Disproportionate DDR Representation: Yes I am working on Mr. Wonderful right now. Many more Stepmania exclusives are on their way though. They should outnumber the DDR hits by far.

A Mr. Wonderful Stepmania package was completed last night. It is a recreation of the DDR Project video using the DNA2 box set. Get it while the download link is still good. It is the only DDR Project adaptation in this project that recreates an entire video mostly using newly extracted DVD clips.

Let me just speak my mind here, because I'm getting a bit tired of all this sarcasm.

I don't think anyone cares about a pack that's made up of other people's steps.
Even if you get permission from the original step artists.
The videos aren't the main reason people play StepMania. STEPMania is about STEPs.

Either you start showing charts that YOU've made, or just don't post anything.
I can tell you have vision for what a simfile pack should be, but that obviously doesn't include the steps themselves,
and that's a very bad thing...

Except it does. In order to satisfy the title the steps themselves have to be among the greatest step charts ever written. The music videos come second. The music videos are a big part of this because they represent dance games as an art form better than just having a bunch of songs with still images. The point of this project is to show the benefits of a non-commercial game versus a commercial game through more cultured music videos and a continuously updated song list instead of a solid song list. Video games can't be art by focusing solely on commercialism.

I can't do it. I can't keep this up. Next thing we hear is he will want the greatest step artists to help him create the greatest step charts along with the greatest music videos to go along with the Greatest of StepMania to show that his game is the Greatest Dance game out of the 'commercial' releases.









....Yet, I honestly want to see how this ends up. Wake me when we get a release date for this. And no "hard drives" or "choking the Internet", which is a pretty laughable statement considering we now have download speeds exceeding gigabytes depending on the IP, location, and package you get, and there's also being patient too.
