Here's a idea. The original 2 Unlimited just got back together with the old producers. Now they can use even the 2 Unlimited name again. Get something like "In Da Name Of Love, Still Unlimited, Nothing 2 Lose or some other new song there doing.

Am I the only one who disagrees? I love the EVOLVED series.

I like the music but the concept has gotten pretty stale, in my opinion.

They're still so many cities, like Cairo, Paris, etc.

I thought the whole Evolved Tour + Tohoku Evolved was a good way to wrap up the Evolved series.
I want original stuff at this point rather than continuing old series.

I agree, the three different song types thing was pretty cool at first but it really started wearing thin after roppongi.

One thing both me and Arctic Wolves has suggested is having a remix/different version play during the oni charts, ala some of the IIDX another charts.

That would give less experienced players an incentive to play at the highest difficulty among other things. I also believe that the Evolved series is losing its luster. It was pleasant to see Paranoia and Trip Machine return in X3. Maybe this arcade version is going to go back to the roots of DDR and have remixes of older KO's. However like most of us I would prefer to see completely new content.

I thought it might be cool if DDR had a song that was similar in spirit to Scripted => Connection and ANTHEM LANDING, where the light, difficult, and expert charts play segments of a long version and each one starts where the last left off.

I was just coming here to post that.

Honestly I was done with the Evolved style when Tokyo did it.

Each mix since DDR X has had a set of ES songs separate from the "standard" ES songs, each with an unlock system unique to that mix.

X had X-Specials alongside the "standard" ES songs, with very particular conditions for unlocking each.
X2 had Replicant D-action alongside the "standard" ES songs, and the whole medal system to unlock Valkyrie dimension.
X3 had PRevo and TMevo alongside the "standard" ES songs, that could only be unlocked by first clearing(?) it in 2ndMIX mode. It also had the first EES that required a PFC.

Wonder what this mix will have.

Please, please, please... no more Dancemania revivals and just focus on new licenses.
