Fuck that Max 300 shit. Some steps are out of the good rythm.
Some sucked and had to be fixed on X (the 12th before the freeze for exemple).
The gunstep at the end really sucks.
Polovstian have a good chart. The crossover parts staring at the middle of the song until the end are just awesome.
And the little 16th triplets are nice.

Seeing that this competition is for the "best" charts in the game, i would say that both have good quality steps, but do you ever hear much of anyone really talk about Polovstian much around here or anywhere because of it's chart/song? Plus MAX 300 was what got me my username :V

Could've gone either way with this one, seeing as both have great charts. In the end, however, Max 300 just stands out more, and I enjoy going back to it every once in a while to get that nostalgic feeling of an older time of DDR, back when Max 300 was the 'Don't mess with me' song.

I always found PDaC to have kind of a generec feeling to it. The song I feel is better known for its video more than anything else. I actually like Max 300 as a chart, especially with those 16th runs

The latter is kinda cool, but Max 300 is more memorable. Not just for being stupid hard for newbs but for being stupid hard and actually going to the music.

The problem with MAX 300 is that it's forgettable; there are a lot of 10s [or equivalents] now that X2 has rolled around. And don't give me that "it-was-hard-for-it's-day-so-it's-monumental" shpeal, because SO DEEP was a 10 in MAX2 beta. Polovstian aged well, and is still one of my favorite charts in DDR to this day due to the fact that, well, it's fun. MAX 300, however, has become obsolete, overplayed, and, honestly, was never really any good in the first place. :\
