It just is.

(two daja77 videos)
Glad to see someone else is a fan of daja77! Happy

Good music, bad steps:
Wings of an Angel Heavy.
I just don't think the 16ths flow when they were put in at the second half of the chart.

The only song I can think of that pretty much has BOTH good music AND good steps is pretty much So Deep. Polovtsian Dances & Choruses is another good one. Not too hard, but not too easy either.

Brilliant2U's Challenge Singles 7-footer chart is what I think saved the song from becoming a bad image, because it seemed as if the Heavy-6 seemed to not flow well, and as a result, seem somehow tougher than the Challenge chart, which flows perfectly, and is clearly better. The song itself is pretty cool too, so if you're referencing to the Challenge chart for Brilliant2U having both good music, and good steps, then you're correct.

I think He's referring to the new one which was in DDR Full-Full Party. Its actually one of the better revised naoki songs (kind of makes the akiba kobou remix in the ddr 2ndremix disc sound kind of bland)

To add to the list would be most of the x-special charts. I know there supposed to be harder charts but they just don't flow that well, often times switching rhythms to emphasize (which I suppose is what makes them so difficult). I would say the worst one is Max 300(x-special)It has less steps than the original but because of those jun-boss-like awkward steps its boosted up to a 16.

I'm surprised no ones mentioned Daikenkai Challenge or is this too old-to-be-relevent

"Give me a steady beat."
They owned the song, but only licensed the lyrics and allowed that license to expire.

"suffering from success"
Yeah. I think Konami should have just used an instrumental version of the song instead. To be honest, the lyrics never really worked in the original song (in my opinion). I didn't get all energetic and "clubby". I didn't want to jump, jump, do my thing. But, you know Konami and their moral high horse. They'll drive the proverbial car in circles if they have to.

That made absolutely no sense. D:

"A Paranoia Survivor"
Good song, bad steps
Un Deux Trois - As someone said earlier, the steps are generic and uninspired to me. They could have been far more challenging than they were. It's a waste, honestly. I wound up making my own.
Love This Feelin' - Annoying steps, really. When I first started playing back in the day, the steps annoyed me and they still do.
Be Lovin - The end of this is just crazy, like unnecessary crazy.

As for bad songs, good steps, I don't have many. Mostly, if I don't like the song, I don't like the steps, either.
