I've made a cap of number of simfiles per week to 10. I can see someone resubmitting all of there songs for a Bemani week or license week. Pretty much breaking the contest.

So im guessing the theme comes out tommorow and we get a week to make files for it if i've read all this correctly, and we dont have to enter every theme if we cant find something we wish to step for it AND we are allowed to outsource help with graphics through lord toon if he wants to help?

Just checking here because ive lost all my fonts and brushes in photoshop and im kinda peeved about it so i was wondering what on earth im gonna do for graphics

All yes. If someone is making graphics for you, make sure you have there permission 1st.

Thats fine im trying to re-source all my old brushes fonts and effects right now because they get used for more than just stepfiling so hopefully it wont come to that anyway!

Monday starts for most of us soon, so I'll reveal the first theme in one hour! (Midnight local time)

If you can't wait an hour, and want to get your creative juices flowing ASAP, I suppose you could all try and guess the first week's theme!

Week 1 - DDR Artists

Step a song featuring any artist who has appeared in a DDR game.

Thanks to Pandemonium X for running these contests. They're a hell of a lot of fun, and I'm honored to be co-admin for this year. This means that half of the themes will be chosen be me, and half will be chosen by Pandemonium X. All of the rules and stuff are decided by him.

While seeing everyone argue over what makes a good or a bad theme, I hope that a lot of the themes I've chosen will help inspire everyone to step the songs that they actually want to step, rather than limiting them to a narrow catagory.

The general rule is that if you can think of any reason why your song fits into the theme, then it's probably ok!

Tyma will cut songs for anyone who can not do it themselves
Lord Toon will make graphics for anyone who can not to it themselves

If you need their help, PM them ASAP, and start making the other parts of the file, so that they can get the song done in time for you to step it. If someone helps you with your file, you must mention this when you post your entry in this thread.
