Yeah for some reason a lot of the munchkins in my town have this strange idea of switching after every song... Its prolly cuz they usually fail after the first stage and are used to paying for one stage at a time.

seriously there are many people who would expect you to let them to play after one song. I usually tell people that they can continue playing after the first stage (if they cleared the song that is) they are usually surprised about that. But they tend to look badly at you when you play your 3+x stages because well they don't understand the game is set like this.

Whenever I activate Extra Stage, and get the awesome siren/klaxon (mix depending), it's pretty much guaranteed to get the entire crowd going "WOOOAAAH!" like I just survived a piano landing on my head.The siren goes off and everyone's like "what the fuck is going on?"

It's even better on SN onwards, when you can sneakily change the difficulty without the player realising.

How would I do that? Were getting a SN2 eventually (we have extreme and itg2 so ihavnt really played SN or SN2 that many times. Sorry bout getting of topic

One time, a kid randomly stomped on arrows before starting and inadvertantly turned on Boost, which messed him up and made him fail.
Speaking of Stealth, somebody failed because they were trying to use Hidden instead but they got the names mixed up. Not immediately relevant to the topic, but you mentioned Stealth.

I was at a 5th Mix down in Carlsbad, CA and we had a kid doing handstands. Now, the handstands aren't what PO'ed me. He did pretty dam awesome. But then he starts bragging in front of the crowd he's gathered. Basically he makes everybody who was praising him resent him or get bored. Everybody walked a way when he started whooping for himself and slamming old gang signs like he was potop.
Plus he looked like he was taking a crap when he wasn't hand standing.
