If you guys don't know, I work at best buy and they set up a DJ hero station.

I got to play for a good 10 minutes and here are some basic pro's and con's.

Pro's:
1> I love the music soundtrack. It's actually REALLY good.

Con's:
1> It's so hard to scratch while holding the blue note.

2> The turntable is so loose. I've never seen a real scratch able to rotate that fast...

3> Alot of scratches don't even register.

4> The crossfader is really specific.

5> Horrible sync - but that could be due to the TV also.

I'll try to get a video on wednesday.
I already know this game is going to sell well. Too bad for beatmania...
[Fucking konami...just put english words on the premium best disc and ship it to america. Problem solved...]

I hope you're joking. An English EMPRESS+Premium Best could only hope to meet 5% of DJ Hero's sales at the very best.

I think Gwen Stefani is a lot better music than most mainstream North American musicians. That Killers mashup isn't very good.

Of course, I really don't like mainstream music of this decade (there are definitely worse, but still...not my cup of tea)

Some updates from the site and other things:

"The Lounge" is up now on the website, although it just shows you the Facebook, Twitter, Youtube Vlog videos, and a Community Message Board that literally SUCKS comapred to DDROC's...like, literally sucks, all you can do is reply to a topic and that's it .

There is also a new tab called "Play It Now" Where it will give you dates on where DJ Hero will hit your local mall...

...and an event has popped up:

DJ Hero's "Play It Now" demo at Gamestop: On almost all participating Gamestops across America (and some other regions across the world...except for the UK and Canada for some odd reason), you can get your hands on DJ Hero 2 weeks before it ships out. You can also try the game and enter for a chance to win prizes including a VIP ticket and trip to go see Eminem LIVE.

The event occurs nationwide on Sunday October 11th, 2009 from 10am - 6pm.

...you can bet that i will go to my local Gamestop and check it out Plus i will see if i can get video of the playable demo songs of it and give my review of how the controller works and feels like.

Also, if you pre-order DJ Hero from Gamestop, you can receive a code that will get you 2 free DLC songs.

And that's about it, Oh and i heard that the first DLC will be a "David Guetta Pack" which includes three songs including "When Love Takes Over" by David Guetta feat. Kelly Rowland. Nice

So anyways i just got back from best buy and low and behold they had a Demo for Dj hero, heres my thoughts...

The game looked great I must say It has a unique interface while still keeping that "hero" feel, however I played it the first time on medium and failed horribly. The crossfading bit is challengeing but can be fun in the long run...Scratching however has to be done 100% accurate or you miss the note but that could just be me

That's what i've been hearing alot lately, the crossfading parts are hard at times when your in medium and junk and also about the scratches that they have to be on time because even if you scratch more than once after the long note ends, it will count it and it will cut off that part of the track >_>.
