Also is there a way to switch of the Announcer in Home mode as it says DDR, twice, loud when I click start. Once at the logo page and then again straight after at the Game Mode/Options etc page

Stunning theme, team! Hands down my favorite. Thank you so much for creating it!

This is definitely my all time favorite theme, great job!! Will it become fully compatible with the project outfox stepmania build? Right now I’m able to use this theme but it has a lot of bugs and non compatibility issues with it.

So for the character videos, you put the SNCharacters folder in the actual Stepmania5 root:



You should then go in the game, go to Options\Display Options\Appearance Options, and put Dancing Characters as "Select":



[This is apparently getting worked on, as of this edit] Also, how do I make it so I can change the speed before the first arrow comes, like in the official games? I can do it with KENp's DDR X2 theme by pressing "/+▲"or "/+▼". Can I somehow make it the same with this theme, myself?

I do now know how to make the dark filter darker. You go to "STARLiGHT/Scripts/Themeprefs.lua" and search for this:

local choiceToAlpha = {0, 25, 50, 75}
local alphaToChoice = {[0]=1, [25]=2, [50]=3, [75]=4}

And change 25, 50 and 75 into higher numers. I did this:

local choiceToAlpha = {0, 30, 60, 90}
local alphaToChoice = {[0]=1, [30]=2, [60]=3, [90]=4}

I love this theme but it doesn't seem to like to display mix banners / jackets and I would love to know if there is a way I can get them to show up? They appear in other themes just fine and have the suffix "-jacket".

Just name the file "banner" or "jacket" instead of ex: 1stmix-jacket or 1stmix-banner.

How do we fix how small the steps are in the practice mode?

If you are using SM 5.0.12, I recommend updating to 5.1 or 5.3 for this theme. It will fix the small edit/training mode playfield issue.

Would it get rid of all the scores that I currently have on my songs?

I tried this but I'm unable to see characters I added to the SNCharacters folder, select doesn't give me an option to select, do I need to enable something else?

How can we get the subtracted score between the combo and the Marvelous? For example, the score between the two in this video.

Unsure if (Nicolas I think?) passed this on. When I was away with the bf at the beginning of October, we popped into a seaside arcade and I came across this, unsure if it was coin mode, or freeplay as it had... well you can see below

No. All your scores is in Appdata [this is a hidden folder]/Roaming/Stepmania 5/Save/Localprofiles

You can back that up if you intend to get a later version of Stepmania.

Edit: Just found out 5.3 has Portable Mode by default, meaning "user profile data is stored in your installation directory"


Please make sure it's something like: Stepmania 5/SNCharacters/baby-lon and then you'll see the Dancervideos folder, some Toasty image, and config

So, if I put my dancer videos in the DancerVideos folder, it will play one of the videos in that folder instead of RandomMovies?

As of right now, I have a mix of Yuni and Emi videos. Is there a way that I can make their videos play with their specific characters intead of using the RandomMovies folder?

I have just downloaded Stepmania 5.3 Outfox & the latest version of this beautiful theme

But I am having trouble with the Groove Radar, any advice on how to get it back to normal?
