Finally AA'ed bloomin' feeling [H] on LR2. I'm so happy~ Big Grin

You play LR2? Do you use a converter and a IIDX controller, or do you play using the keyboard? I can't figure out how to map the keys on the keyboard to my liking...

I play using keyboard. How is your key configuration?
I'm a DDR player, but never make a AAA.

Default. I just got it recently, so I haven't done anything to it except add songs.

Well, I think default one is OK, because it's not so far away from the discscratch (a.k.a. SHIFT key) and SPACE key.

How do I change it to be left-handed (scratch on the right)? Heck, how do I change the keys at all? Or do you just play using the default?

If you play LR2, you will face music selection screen. Click SYSTEM OPTION on the bottom-left side (where there are several other option like PLAYER STATUS, etc.). A dialog box will then appear. on the very bottom of the box, you will notice two more option; KEY CONFIG and SKIN / SOUND. Click KEY CONFIG, and a new screen will appear. You will see white circles and rectangulars. That's the representation of your keys and disc. Click one of them, and it will become red. There's several little boxes under those circles and rectangulars. Click one of them.

For examples, I click the 1st key on 1P on the representation, and I click one of the little boxes. It will highlighted blue. Then, I press one of the key on the keyboard that will represent that first key (for example, V). The text inside that box will be changed from the supposedly Z to V. That means, in gameplay, instead of pressing Z to "activate" the corresponding key, we will have to press V to "activate" the key.

Hope that this will be useful.

Still can't switch it to the 2P side, but I'll see what I can do.

Oh, did you mean to switch it to 2P side? In that case, I'll search the Internet to find out.

EDIT: I finally found it. Click SYSTEM OPTION and click SKIN/SOUND. Click 7KEYS tab and find for an option called PLAYSIDE. Click either the left or right arrow to change it from LEFT to RIGHT.

After that, if you haven't configure the key mapping yet (which means that you still in the 1P key map), you just need to use KEY CONFIG like I explained above.

I'm currently running Windows Safe Mode with Networking Big Grin

I'm being blue screen'd every five minutes after logging in. Computer is saying that it might be a RAM problem. Running Norton and Antimalwarebytes to double check.

"DDR-ing regularly again!~"
So my local arcade gets a new Guitar Hero machine with their extra money instead of fixing their DDR machine and maybe a majority of some of their other games. WTH???

Believe me, there were two of my arcades that did this. One of them was similar to your situation. They bought a GH cabinet and neglected the breaking DDR machine (and in my case also a Mario Kart Arcade GP).
I think the operators bought into the idea that this would be a huge profit maker when in reality, I have never really seen anyone play it when I pass by it. Also, have they even fixed the lag issues yet?

I finally got to hear Diamond Dust -Let's Try to Sing Ver.-

It's not bad, but I feel let down. I was kind of hoping for more of an extended version of the original rather than just an instrumental.
Music is always running in my mind... Everyday, songs old and new come to mind.
...
I wonder how a DJ Hero-esque mix of an AFRONOVA medley and Fascination MAXX would sound...

I really like the Try To Sing Ver. I like both but just hearing someone singing to it makes me feel good inside.

I didn't try playing it because I stink at Guitar Hero, but over the course of the time I was there, not many people were playing and I got a small crowd of little kids just watching me play DDR. I've even spoken to the manager about the machine and gave him a flyer about the X2 AC as well, but it looked like I was getting him all ticked off. I'd stop going, but this is the only DDR machine near me.

I went to the World of Nations yesterday, which is a multicultural festival in Jacksonville FL, and saw that they had a small area with DDR there that had DDR PS3/360. I played only one song because none of the others were really appealing, which was Private Eye. I liked the chart and the song itself was pretty good, yet the glare from the sun on the screen, the crappy (it was at least taped down) soft pad, and the awkward new gameplay system made it really crappy. The freezes were almost invisible and it just got annoying after a while.

Overall, the World of Nations was fun nonetheless. I ate like 2lbs of calories from the Filipino/Italian tents, but the Lumpia, Pancit, Tiramisu, and Canolli were so worth it. Then, I got to see some friends perform at the Indian tent.

Lumpia? Lumpia is a snack from Indonesia. I don't know that Americans know this food.

Anyway, I'm fighting with mosquitoes now. They suck my blood like I am a large Diet Coke.
