Ahem. I mentioned before about some Halo Reach races, so whoever wants to try a few that I'll host, PM me and the LIVE Gamertag. I'll try to do it some time on Thursday.

I know it might seem a tad nerdy, but does anyone else here have AP exams in May? The next few weeks are going to suck...

"MAGGLE"
So, I finally have my on-the-job training schedule as I had just finished my interview a while ago. I decided to just go to my school's Management Information Systems Dept. and ask the head if I can do my training there instead of outside the campus, since I got 250 hours and I badly need to finish them before the classes of next semester (time spent on transportation means less OJT hours per day).

This is the first and last day I'll be bringing my laptop throughout the period as I won't have time to do this when I finally get up and work on tasks. And I gotta go back to taking care of the remaining paperwork.

Kiri: Just don't complain about your rating. It's gonna restore itself to normal or even increase when the members have seen you improving.

I'm browsing at some race tracks in Halo Reach at Bungie.net (File sharing of course). If there is some good tracks, speedways, road courses, or supercross tracks, some posting would be appreciated. As mentioned, I'll still host the races Thursday, but I won't be available at 3-6 PM EST. After dinner (roughly after 6), I'll be back on for more races.

There are no good racetracks on Halo. They all consist of wall-less tracks with hairpin turns, retarded jumps, and badly-aimed man-cannons over instant-kill water.

Might want to double-check; There's a supercross track using indoor settings and has walls. I forgot who made that, but meh.

Woo, one good track. It's still not going to undo the hours upon hours I've had to endure of my friend asking me to try the new hundreds of bullshit tracks that he downloaded, though.

I shoud evidently get Reach and make you some, then. I'd make you a perfect scale model of Autopolis.

You can search for a few maps like the ones above at bungie.net. When you hit "Download to My Xbox", it will be downloaded once you start Halo Reach.

I wish I could get more, but my Queue list is now full, so I may have to disconnect my computer and plug the modem to the Xbox.

I think it would be easier if you can pick up a copy of Reach and I'll show you some Forge stuff. Let me know if you're getting access to the game, and I'll invite you to Forge.

Ah, OK. I probably won't need any pointers or anything, because I've been used to it on 3, and the new additions don't look too difficult to add.

Yeah, it's good for precise tuning in Reach. About the last question, you can rotate the axis of a wall and make it a flat track (assuming you put a specifc Axis at 90-degrees). I showed Dan the ropes in Forge and had him test to see if anything is rough on the 'hog. The track I believe was going to be High Speed Ring from Gran Turismo 1 and 4, since there wasn't much GT tracks replicated to Reach.

Ah, if I was gonna do that, I'd do real world tracks. Start off on the TOCA and V8 Supercars tracks because they're pretty easy to do.

The one part that worries me is the length of those tracks compared to Reach maps. I need to tell the length of those tracks. And since I'm American, I don't follow the TOCA series.

Track lengths are 2-5km, with the majority being 3. In comparison, Hi-Speed Ring is 4.01. I'm sure you could shrink them down decently enough. It'd be a bit of a challenge getting Thruxton done because it's so curved.

And if this'd work I'd get started on the DTM. Something like Norisring would be piss easy.
