Tired old holidays aside, I noticed something intriguing about DDR when playing last night.

I played a set and got to Extra Stage, so the game naturally reset my sorting and put me on Monkey Business, only displaying Basic and Difficult. I wanted to play something else, so I switched back to Difficulty Sort and went to another song and dropped back to Expert. I moved through the songs and, while in the 13 foot folder, found Monkey Business. We already know that Monkey Business is a 13 on Expert (On Double), but the interesting thing is I couldn't actually select Expert, yet it was properly sorted as if I could.

I wonder if this glitch could be used to find hidden Challenge charts on other songs as well...

Wouldn't it be simple to tell by doing Challenge sort and seeing if you find Beautiful Dream in the 15 category? Give it a shot next time you're playing!

I know Deep Forest was in jubeat but I still think the Contra Medley would have been better for DDR since IMHO, the steps are very "Japanese" compared to "American" steps. However, there has been no Nekojira stuff in DDR despite 'them' having songs since Ultramix4. I think the Asian audience would love Out of Decaf but oh well.

Doesn't work because I tried it already. It has been this way since X2 with KIMONO PRINCESS.

Lights on the panels *do* make a difference to me. It's what I use, usually during machine startup, to test the panel sensors before I begin playing. Which lets me easily report to the arcade managers which panels need replacing, without the pressure of doing 16 tests in the 4 bars of music before stepcharts begin scrolling. And on legacy cabinets, allow me to strategically choose P1 or P2 side based on hardware (our X2 restricts player-selection via seperate coin slots; but I can still test both pads for one credit).

Kinda hope this is the last song of hers in DDR. She's not a bad artist by any means, but there's not a lot of variation between her songs in the series and the music's not terribly suited for a dancing game anyways. I do enjoy some of her work outside of the game though.

Could someone give me a hand now.

I am trying to stream now and trying to use the audio line out. I dont think its working yet and hope someone can confirm that and maybe give me advice how to get it working.

I'm using xspliter and have one of these hooked up to the back rca plugs of the machine

Yeah, I can't hear anything on the stream. I don't know anything about doing lineouts and the like though, sorry.

I'd love to get some line outs today, but someone needs to tell me how. Sooner the better

Also I am running windows 8 btw. I think I need to change or configure my settings in the sound control thing but not sure which ones to mess with.

You plug that in the RCA plugs in the back of the machine, and then plug that to the line in of your computer (or microphone plugs work too I guess). Then (in Win7, idk about Win8), you can go right click the sound volume icon in the system tray then Recording devices. Just click Microphone/Line In and set default. To check whether it's working, click Properties > Listen > Listen to this device > OK. If it's working, whatever is going in there should be played on your computer.
