Okay, the licence songs for DDR II it seems better than DDR 2010 before.

But i wonder about the revealed songs.

If those songs originally for DDR II, that means the revivals possibility mostly from X2 ARC.

Just count the licence + default KO + ??? for 80 + songs

It is now less then a month away! I hope we will get songs like Fire Fire from X2. I wouldn't doubt if we only got another Hottest party. Megamix.... That would fill all the requirements.

Except, X2 isn't considered "memorable classics" yet. Classics probably refers to the pre-SuperNOVA era.

Wasn't SOMETHING WONDERFUL shown on a pre-release screenshot to be in SuperNOVA AC/CS or was that a rumor? I saw the picture but I wasn't sure if it was legit or not.

You're probably referring to the same mock screenshot that showed a lot of Festival/Ultramix 2 songs in it. It was a complete fake created just for marketing.

I guess it would be that one but I think it only showed SOMETHING WONDERFUL on it or at least it had it in the songlist more than once. Either way, it needs to be "revived" on something other than an Xbox title.

Am I the only person that looks at DDR JP AC songs, IIDX songs, and other unsaid Bemani game titles, then looks at the music given to us in US home versions, and cant help but feel he songs lack the feeling and purpose of the songs on other games? There always the same thing, theres never any new touches to the songs, accept by wac originally, and even his songs are streaming down the same path. I like Tomosukes HP songs at first, but now you could play any one for me and I would probably still say "Shine". Does anyone understand what I am saying here?
The same goes for all these Jun boss songs as well.

I'm afraid I don't quite understand. Are you saying that musically, the songs given to us in America are stale and repetitive?

The same could be said about any HP game after HP2.

It sounds like he is trying to say that the songs are no longer unique and the Konami artists are making songs that people most like (or expect) to hear from them. If people like Sweet Sweet <3 magic, then Jun will just make more songs that sound like that. It's rather unfortunate because some of the best songs in DDR are the more unique ones by De-Sire or 2MB, and we aren't getting new KO's like those anymore.

I agree we aren't getting KO's like we used to. The majority are more like mainstream pop music. Some of them are very good but nothing beats songs like colors or daikenki.

I like how all the new KOs are sounding. o.o Until The End doesn't sound like mainstream pop. It'd be cool if there was more songs like that and On The Night Of A Still Wind and Flight Of The Phoenix. More violins and opera please. OTL

We definitely need more remakes of classical music, and some original pieces of music purely made of classical band/orchestra instruments. Something like Osaka Evolved.

I'd prefer to see what 2MB could do if he was given the X2 OST and told to "go wild". We haven't seen anything new from him since... what, Pluto -Relinquish-? Imagine what he could do with VD...

I like Osaka Evolved. Unlike most other people who hate the drum rolls, they're just kind of there, not good, not bad. But I love the piano part.
And yes, some 2MB would be nice. Is he still making music?

2MB=U1. U1 is still making music but he has not made any music under 2MB since SuperNOVA2's Pluto Relinquish.

I don't have a problem with mixing some of the lighter pop music we get first in American games with high-energy tracks that debut in the arcade games. I feel they mix for a good combination. I'll take such gems as Shine and One Sides Love along side thumpers such as Sakura Sunrise and Pierce The Sky. I like it all.
