Candii (a Vocaloid song from SDVX) is also in jubeat copious (sadly it was removed in saucer).
It'll come back. I really dislike jubeat saucer's rotating song list. This April, songs like Vanity, LUV CAN SAVE U, and POINT ZERO are scheduled to be removed. Post #1322 · Posted at 2013-03-31 12:48:01pm 12.3 years ago

Yes. What songs do you want to see in DDR 2013?

Anyone connected with Japanese social media know what the response is to the new white cabinet's pads, now that there are (hopefully now stable) X cabs to compare to?
Previously the thoughts were that the panels were smaller (I don't think I noticed this) and that sensitivity sucked.

Everyone seems to acknowledge that the white pads suck, but at the same time they don't seem to care... at least very much. A couple days ago I modded the white pads at one of my local arcades with vinyl tape. For the most part it got rid of the dropping holds and reduced the overall required weight to trigger sensors as expected, but the response still isn't as good as X3 pads. This means that it's not the pad construction that's the problem, but the sensors (or the sensor casings?) themselves. The modded white pads are very playable for easier songs, but it's not up to par for anything "hard." Tomorrow I'll be going to my other local arcade and modding their X3 pads and sticking with those.

I see too many people forming lines to play the brand new machines while the upgraded machines next to them are left empty to believe that there's a general consensus that they suck.
Echoing myself from before, they're brand new and they're stiff from having never been played. It's expected that they'll loosen up just like the X cabinets did. Maybe Konami made them a little more stiff on purpose knowing that these machines would be around for the long haul. But that doesn't make them less playable.
A friend of mine from Vegas came to Tokyo recently and tried the new machine out. Bracketing is not a very good idea if you're concerned about your score. But even though he was bar hugging the whole time and is a very light person, his hit accuracy was pretty good. No sensitivity issues that we could see.
When someone said the stage panels changed size I thought it meant they got bigger. Closer inspection makes me think there's no size difference at all with the stage. If there is, it's very slight. But the LCD screens on the white cabinets are bigger than the ones on the black cabinets and in many cases closer to the stage and therefore the player. So it could just be a matter of perspective.

I wasn't including casual players. It's kind of obvious that they're going to flock to the newer machine.

There's no long haul. Sensors get replaced all the time regardless and this trend will continue. There's also no such thing as loosening up if the sensors brackets are set up properly, so I'm not sure if you understand how the insides of panels work. Also yes it does make them less playable for people who are trying to score on 18s because proper play form is required.

I'm not really sure what this anecdote is supposed to prove. If you provide an example of what he did and his general skill level it might be relevant though.
I don't really understand what this mentality with trying to defend Konami is. If they made a mistake, so be it. It is what it is and we can do with it what we can to try and make things better for everyone in the future.

Wow, struck a nerve.
Anyone here on ZIv will tell you that I don't blindly defend Konami, rather it can be the other way around (to a particular infamy).
Not sure where you're at in the world, Flaire, but I'm in Tokyo right now. I see MA players on the new machines every day (I can no longer set machine records, even on Double, because almost everything has already been PFC'd at the locations I frequent). Having been an arcade technician in the past I'm very familiar with the inner workings of a DDR stage and know from experience that a brand new machine can be stiff and need a break-in period (both American and Japanese). As of writing this, the new white cabinets are a whole 18 days old. So, yeah, they're not as feather-touch as the old machines are... yet. Be patient.
I'm speaking from firsthand experience when I say there's nothing wrong with these machines outside of the LCD panels having a case of image ghosting, which is easily ignored during play. I'm absolutely sure that people have gotten used to playing on the X cabinets after the years that they've been out and feel more at home on them, I still feel like I perform better on the legacy cabinets. Once again, that doesn't translate into there being an actual problem.

Before we go much further I'll just say for the record that lightless pads is the worst thing ever, because it makes it impossible to judge sensitivity before gameplay. (Judging sensitivity during gameplay is too late because hello goods misses and dropped freezes)
It doesn't help that when I played during 2013's first week, double tapping up/down arrows to change difficulty had an insane ~1 second lag, which can't be pad sensitivity.
DIFFERENT TOPIC: REGARDING E-AMUSEMENT BASIC:
- Has anyone tried using a non-Japanese credit card to pay the 315 yen fee? "クレジットカードが利用停止状態です。入力したクレジットカード情報をご確認下さい。"
- How does paying the 315 yen e-Amusement fee by Paseli work?

I keep forgetting that the biggest change made to the new stages is the absence of the panel lights. I never look at them when I'm up there, I always use the receptors right before the song starts. I'm not really sure why that bugs you though because after your first song ever you'll know exactly how the panels respond, right? It's not like it's going to change after that...
As far as I can tell, every single new machine plays identically to the others no matter the day, no matter the location.

This still happens. It's even worse on upgraded cabinets. It's somehow just a UI thing because it's completely disconnected from gameplay response times. Maybe the stage is given a different polling rate during song select because it isn't required?

i mean can't you just say that he's using the bar
Anyway, I actually would love to try both dedicabs seeing that I'm stuck with just one upgraded cab. Still better than nothing though, I guess...

I'll test out a new white cab soon and give my opinion. Just heard the other day a new 2013 white cab will be placed in an arcade a 5 min walk from my house, how convenient. They said it'll arrive in mid April and after playing on it a bit I'll give my opinions and see how the develop over time if it really just needs some "breaking in"
I'll be playing a good amount tomorrow and tuesday. My focus will be to take videos of every Expert doubles chart of the new songs plus revisit singles with the content I'll unlock. We'll see how it goes. I may be streaming as well.

Load up your e-Amusement card with Paseli. Once you have some cash in your Paseli account, then go to the eAmusement website and select the options that require the basic subscription. They'll prompt you to subscribe to it and after that, just follow the instructions.
When your subscription is confirmed, 315 yen will be deducted from your Paseli pool. They will automatically deduct 315 every month after that unless you don't have the balance available to renew it. In which case, they won't be able to deduct said funds and will suspend your subscription until you manually resubscribe to it.
Do note that all subscriptions terminate on the first of the following month, so even if you start at say the 28th of the month, your sub will still end on the 1st the next month.

Now the problem is for people outside Japan... how do you get PASELI in your eAmuse account in the first place?

You can try to source Paseli cards from people living in Japan.

Frogger's Song and LETHAL ENFORCERS MEDLEY will also make it. Calling it!
