Just wondering if there an option that we can switch ON or OFF for Shock arrows like Freeze arrows if we don't like. I usually like playing DDR without Freeze arrows.
We don't know. Just wait for the game to come out.

As for you playing without freezes....wuss...Annoyed

Yes, there was an option to turn them off.

I know a few people who prefer playing without freezes. However, they WILL turn them on if attempting a AA or AAA.

Speaking of score, you get an OK if you avoid a shock arrow and an NG if you hit it. Do 4 shock arrows together count as one or four?

Now I'm reminded how 1st and I think 2nd mix was. If you hit the pad when there wasn't a arrow there it was like missing one. Did that stop with 2nd or 3rd mix?

That was only on 1st I believe.

1st CS arranged mode, to be exact.

and people keep bringing it up, but "ouch!" and mines/shock arrows are totally different things. shock arrows are in certain places, and you cant be on them as they pass or step on them. "ouch!" rating is by stepping where there is no step at any point in the song. HUGE difference.

Mm, but Poison Arrows were in UM2, and they act more similar to shock arrows/mines. Much better comparison there.

Just a note: The most recent blog post just says they're looking and sorting the feedback submitted online and from the location tests now.

Mm yeah, I saw that this morning. I'm hoping they'll address some of the fixes they made on the blog.

Well, you really wouldn't have been able to. The two things they mention in the blog are the Location Test Notebooks (Which you can only write in AT the location test) and the results of the online survey, which was pretty much meant for Japanese players (Although some English-speakers, like me, filled it out).

They'll be asking feedback at the US and Europe Location Tests, so you haven't lost out! Tongue

Oh well, I've mentioned a lot of my ideas on ddroc anway. I won't have time to think about DDR in Basic (and certainly won't have internet access), so it will be fun to catch up on what's known once I graduate.

TAG wrote a new post on the DDR FROM STAFF blog. It was a rather long post, so I was hoping it would be good, but it was quite boring.

He basically talked about how he was worried about how the new game would be received, but that he was relieved to see how that the game was received positively.

Post something useful in the blog! Sheeeeesh.

Post something useful in a blog? Isn't that kinda anathema to what blogs are normally like? Smile

n00b: My AFSC's Avionics Test Station and Components. I basically fix the diagnostic equipment used to fix aircraft. It's kind of a far throw from computer programming, but I'll need to be in for 3 years before I qualify for the Top Secret security clearance for that. It's still a steady job and I get to learn something marketable that I've never done before, so I'm looking forward to it.

Haha, this blog madness even further reminds me of Brawl. That Sakurai...

So we have a vertical coin slot, a turntable ipod wheel, and now LED lights. Laughing Out Loud
Now all we need is for them to resonate the bass through the pads.
