Less is more so when people see the logo they won't realize how much they spend in the store or for restaurants how many calories they are actually ingesting. With all the logo's being shown..

In the age we live in with the terrible economy (as well as recent awareness of global warming and the "going green" fad), the minimalist look is appealing to people (mainly college students) because it doubles as looking both "inexpensive" and "eco-friendly". Big powerful mega-companies like Wal-Mart are starting to be seen as the bad guys in todays world. The old bolder looking logos of those companies convey power. So to create a sense of "oh not at all, we're actually just like you guys, the struggling everyday American" they try to adopt logos that look more humble and down to Earth. It's a marketing strategy to ensure that people keep coming back to them in a time where people harbor bitterness toward powerful organizations.

Yea thats pretty much it. The new Walmart logo is supposed to be more organic and that sunburst at the end is apparently a flower to make them seem more eco-friendly. Personally, I think WAL★MART looks much better and more bold than the new logo but oh well...

i spun hardcore at an anime convention in cincinnati this weekend
the only problem is that they pushed back everything so i started at 2 in the morning when it basically should have been over so no one was there
though because i had to wait so long i got really drunk so it all worked out. my set sounds like absolute garbage though
it was sweet though. met some hot chicks and theyre all really cool
partying like a rockstar
