Wasn't that going to be a Dancing Stage release? |
Well, in the Thread on DDR:UK they say
Quote: |
---|
develop a new amusement machine version of Dancing Stage / DDR. |
And also:
Quote: |

In a recent meeting in Japan with the development team |
So, I'm assuming it's both DDR and DS? Does the Japanese development team have anything to do with UK releases?
Plus, they've been taking (and have taken) so much feedback on SN2, that I would be utterly shocked if they weren't planning another AC game.

they are going to have to switch or make new hardware to do that however, because konami is not aloud to run the modified PS2 boards in the UK, because its illegal.
I expect the board to be something like they use on beatmania machine, which is a computer board, that is XP embedded. I am not sure if the new board is twinkle star, but that was one of the ones that ran beatmania, with XP embedded.

Yeah, they might go over to BemaniPC hardware, or they might begin making exclusive mixes for Europe that use the old hardware.

Hey, is it normal that Fly Away Mix Del Matador isn't in the database list of DDR SN2 AC(US)? Is it in the game or was it just forgotten?

I guess it was just overlooked when the song list was being compiled, for it is most certainly in the game. I didn't even notice its absence myself until something was said. XD

Well I just happened to be looking for it, but I saw it in the Jap version songlist, so I wondered if something was wrong or if the US version didn't have it. It easy to understand how nobody noticed ONE song missing!XD

Yeah, there are some things that just never come to mind when you're trying to think of them. The first thought is usually something less obvious.

When the unlock codes are input into the machines, does it affect the extra stages as well? While I was at Dave & Buster's Times Square last night (Wednesday), the second unlock code was in, but the FINAL/EXTRA/OMES was still Unreal/NGO/Trip Machine PhoeniX, respectively.

No, it doesn't affect the EXTRA STAGEs.

Which means unless Betson and/or Konami decides to release an update disc, we may see a repeat of the SN1 fiasco (EXTRA/OMES songs unavailable in normal gameplay).

I am hoping that that unlock code will change all the extra stages, and final stages on machines... I dont see what the point of it would be other wise besides getting the last few song unlocks that were not very god
Anyways, I may be able to take a trip to BZN today. Next week I a moving to a new townhouse, so it will be a while before I return.

I'd say we'll eventually get all the unlocks, but the FS/ES/EES structure will remain the same. However, when everything gets unlocked on all stages, there wouldn't be a difference. It's just that we'll have to wait until 20, November at best when that happens. Not kidding.
I'm placing my bets on the next unlock code unlocking Arrabbiata, Bloody Tears, Stars, and Mars War 3, along with Victory or Defeat and Barrier.

I don't think they'd unlock two "e-amuse time unlocks" in one go. I think their next unlock is:
1. Stars
2. Mars War 3
3. Arrabbiata
4. Victory or Defeat
5. Barrier
(if 5 is true) 6. unlock Paranoia -Hades- for encore extra stage, making Trip Machine PhoeniX available for extra stage, and NGO available for final stage.

I would say... 1. STARS★★★ 2. Bloody Tears 3.(Not very likely). PARANOiA ~HADES~ (for encore extra stage), NGO available for final stage, Trip Machine PhoeniX available for extra stage. |

Hey Al, just want to Confirm that the Location I mention a while ago since it hasn't been updated in here.
It's a NEW DEDICAB!
Location: El Centro,CA @ Brunswick's Zone
The machine is the same version number, but what saw was an icon that said "Joint Premium" but no e-amuse on sight.
I took 2 pics with my phone:

QUESTION: Exactly how is it that you input the Unlock Codes into the machine? I tried today and I wasn't sure how fast I had to do it or if I was doing it too slow. Anybody?

You have to be on the title screen, after you enter your credits. I don't think there's a time limit (given the complexity of the codes) just enter them correctly.

I've been thinking about that leaked MAX unlock, but it's been awhile. Did it have the extra stages available, or were they just in Oni mode?
Oh, and there's something that I've been wondering about dance levels. You gain points for songs you haven't played, right? Do other charts, like doubles, count separately?
