It's repetitive, it feels like steps were omitted, and it barely follows the music.

As for Shades of Grey, ugh. It's the "8-footer" version of Raspberry Heart: Grossly underused and misused eighth notes.

You've heard me complain about how easy SN2 songs are. I'm not about to emulate that.

I hope the stepchart makers will not add too many Shock Arrows.

Will a new category in the Groove Radar be added for the Shock Arrows (just like how freeze arrows have the "Freeze" category)?

There appears to be only five GR categories in the pictures from the test locations. Is it because Shock arrows are integrated into one of those categories? Which one?

They probably won't mention them on the GR, as far too many songs don't have them. That's why there's a Shock Arrow window whenever you pick a song that does have them (a la the freeze arrow screen in EM2.

Anyway, I personally loved all of those stepcharts, so I guess I'm happy to know they're making more charts.

Honestly, it doesn't look like they will. It's challenge-chart only, and the three oni charts that feature them that we know of so far (Butterfly, DUB-I-DUB, Flight of the Pheonix) are all easy Basic/Difficult type charts.

It looks like it will just be some gimmick to add a new thing for moderate players. Honestly, I'll be turning them off most likely, unless I think they're placed fun, and I rarely thought they were with ITG.

Wait, Butterfly has shock arrows? What about its original chart?

It's moved down to Heavy, and the heavy is the standard.
