It's always been that, the bpm musically is 150. It's the SuperNOVA2 ending music if you didn't know already.

It's actually not so bad. I think it's a pretty good song for NAOKI underground. (Then again, I like his songs) But Al's right. The entire song itself is only 150 bpm, but the scroll speed in a beginning section is 300, and the last about 20% of the song is also at 300.

If it's an 8, I wouldn't worry too much I'm expecting awesome steps like what they did for CaptivAte ~誓い~

CaptivAte on the other hand has 420 steps with 15 freezes.

Number of steps isn't so much the thing anymore... doesn't take number of jumps into account...

Captivate is also a pretty fluid/streamy song (stepwise). Poseidon seems pretty choppy (stepwise), so I'm guessing that there could be not a lot of steps, but still be pretty good.

But I can always make an edit if it's not what I was expecting

There's a video from the broken beta test in NJ of Poseidon's standard chart. 225 steps (jumps being counted as 1 step), 2 freezes.

The Heavy steps probably fill in various arrows that were removed from the end of some of the patterns (it's really obvious which patterns I'm referring to), plus some more arrows throughout the song.

Omg 298 steps only ah. I hope the lack of steps come from the slowdowns. Poseidon's really a good song. Maybe in Supernova 3 they will add an Oni chart (lol).

well it depends on what KONAMI thinks what they should do for the upcoming ddr game. I'm not sure KONAMI will add in a Oni chart but we'll see in a bit of a long time.

the steps are quite interesting , especially at the 75 bpm part
