It's a serious misfortune to grow up and realize that being in the real world means having to give up something you loved when you were young, because you had all the time in the world back then and no longer do now.

I just got to play DDRII today, as GameFly got the game two days after release, then it had to ship to my house. It seems easier to get AA's than it is even on SN2 and later, as I was getting them more often than not (excluding RDA), even though I was mostly playing on Expert. I got to unlocking In The Air (~410K DDR Points?) in the session I played today, though I'm a little surprised at how few X2 songs I got outside of those in RDA.

Also, Unbelievable is probably jun's easiest HP boss song to pass, as I got a B on the short version and a C on the full version; that could be due to the removal of Almosts though. Pierce the Sky is also a lot harder than I thought it was, and I can somewhat see why it isn't in the default RDA (I still got a B, surprisingly).

It's fine, I'm getting time to play here and there. In fact, I did play DDR II today and almost passed Valkyrie Dimension on , if I can get the end of it down, I'll try to find time(hopefully this weekend) to make a video of me passing and attempting the song on !

Wow really? I saw a video of that song on expert/challenge and...that song is just impossible. I even find it IMPASSIBLE! Good job on almost passing it on expert. That's a start! Damn I wish DDR II was on PS2.

I made this not too long ago. I'm very happy that I did this! Back then I always messed up when it came to those consecutive jumps.

I'm really starting to think that they merged the Good and Almost window into just Goods on DDR2010/II (as opposed to part of the old Almost window being a Miss), because not only did I clear Zeta with full life, I cleared I'm so Happy with a B, despite the fact that I never cleared a 16 before. Thankfully that seems to be the only major change in the timing windows (at least compared to PS2 versions).
I did notice that 994K with 2 Greats wasn't a AAA like it would be in the current arcade grading scale. It seems that Perfects might possibly be worth less than in arcade, as my score was notably low when I had ~30 more Perfects than Marvelouses with a Good Full Combo (compared to my usual ratio of them being nearly equal with a Full Combo).

...I'm starting to wonder if these posts should go in the game's thread or not.
