I disklike Vista. XP has been my favorite (I honestly think Windows 7 is starting to copy Mac OS X)

I've been using a Vista for the past year and cannot note a slight change in anything except interface.
Same shit, moving on.
Same shit, moving on.

Vista is basically a re-skinned version of XP with some features missing and some new ones added.
Windows 7 is basically a fixed version of Vista with newer, small things that prove Windows is going for Mac OS X's graphical UI.

I don't hate vista, but I don't really like it as much as I had when I was still on ME

What I'm worried about is that Windows 7 is quite a bit different than Vista or XP (I know Vista introduced changes, but it really looks and feels, bit not functions like XP).
Here's how you make it work like XP:
Taskbar: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/3784/change-the-windows-7-taskbar-to-work-like-vista/
UAC: (But don't disable it - this is really stupid.) http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/12/30/how-to-disable-and-turn-off-uac-in-windows-7/
Other than that, please, tell me what bothers you on 7 - I'd really like to know why some people still think this way.

Everything has been renamed, I've become accustomed to what Vista has, the WMP on the Taskbar, Security Center instead of Action Center, and last but not least, Classic Appearance Settings. Where do I apply my custom themes?
Windows ME, as I heard may have been cranky, but I did like the new Windows Media Player, the various new System tools like System Restore, and how it feels really different than 98. Windows ME was the OS our PC came with, if all the bother was about upgrade installations.

I'll give you the WMP toolbar removal, that was pretty dumb, (although WMP is pretty lacking anyway) but there is Mini mode, and iTunes and WinAmp can do the same, with a few tweaks. (iTunesKeys is awesome)
But what exactly is wrong/missing with System Restore? You can still create custom points and it'll do it automatically when it installs Updates.
Things renamed:
StartSearch. It will find anything for you, including things in the Control Panel. This is probably my second favorite feature of 7.
Also, for many things in the Control Panel, you'll only have to learn the new name once and then change whatever settings you need, and never go back to there. If you really can't remember, that's what StartSearch is for.
Security Center did nothing more than Action Center - which is much, much better anyway.
Custom themes - meaning like Royale/Media Center Edition from XP? Rightclick Desktop > Personalize gives you most of that, and then if you click Window Color at the bottom of that screen, then Advanced Appearance Settings, was that what you meant?
Windows Classic is also there at the bottom of the Personalize window. The Blue/Silver XP theme is no longer available, but you can do it with this: http://www.askvg.com/download-windows-xp-luna-theme-for-windows-7/
Anything else?

I was talking about themes that I find on DA or those vistathemes/seventhemes websites, but Luna's good. Funnily, I can't seem to find the Advanced Appearance Settings on the Windows 7 Professional we have at the computer labs nor the Home Premium on my classmate's laptop.

It's probably disabled on the lab computers - but on Home Premium, it should be there... Unless maybe it's a Beta version?
As far as themes go, if you places their data/themepacks in the Windows\Resources\Themes\ folder, you may have to patch some files: http://deepxw.blogspot.com/2008/11/universal-theme-patcher.html

Hmmm I'm thinking if I should do a cosplay contest entry this Saturday at a gaming convention at my university. If anything I might be doing my Sniper cosplay http://fc07.deviantart.net/fs71/i/2010/303/2/3/youmaon_2010_2_by_pharaoh_chan-d31ty4b.jpg If I had the time, I could had gotten my other one finished (still waiting on the wig)
Yes? No?

Speaking of cosplay and such, I always wanted to do IIDX cosplay but I'm sure not a lot of people will get it, if I did I want to go as this dude (does he even have a name?) http://blog-imgs-18.fc2.com/5/1/0/5100109/SIRIUS.jpg or Tekka http://img181.imageshack.us/img181/5922/tekkapostervp9.jpg

Fuck yeah Tekka. I considered doing that for my first cosplay.
