"Give me a steady beat."
I also wonder if the bit about X3 might mean that the ideas taken from all the feedback will get better implementation in the next arcade release. That they'll address some of them now in X2 but too many would push the release date back.

WH1TE RO5E description from 2ch:

Completely unlike the usual Y&Co., it's a breakbeats song. Stepchart wise, the chaos is fairly high and there's a slowdown. The last section has some complicated 16th sections, which perhaps make it more of a 14 than a 13.
First Posession, now breakbeats? Want.
Along with everything else, I mean.
nice.

According to OotaP, If You Were Here is a planned revival song.

Even though I wasn't really a big fan of If You Were Here, I hope that its true that it will be revived, 'cause if that happens, the chances would be more likely that other Dancemania songs would be revived later on. Smile

It's funny how they only revive the old Dancemania licenses like BUTTERFLY, DUB-I-DUB, IF YOU WERE HERE and none from 4thMIX or later.

I'd like to see some 5thMIX, MAX, MAX2 ones come back to be quite honest.

In all fairness they should bring back songs like Hot Limit for AC.

I'm thinking Konami decided to go for those first since we haven't the 1st/2nd Mix songs in so long compared to 4th Mix and beyond. They could also be catering to the oldest generation of players who grew up on the game, a la Street Fighter IV's lineup being similar to the original SFII.

True... until they revived Butterfly and GET UP'N MOVE on EXTREME. Tongue They were nice throwbacks though, but if they're going to continue the trend, I would hope they continue to pick licenses that weren't revived on EXTREME, since there's still so many EXTREMEs around I can play them anytime.

This means, I'm looking for TEMPLE OF LOVE to make a comeback. Big Grin

OotaP is a programmer for the arcade DDRs btw.
Yeah ! I played this song for the first time on Extreme arcade.
I was like "Whoa, Extreme have some kick ass songs.".
It's one of the only song that i sometimes play even if i already AAA it.

I'm sad when some of my friends mostly only knows SuperNova.
SuperNova have good songs yes, but they are missing some really good songs from Extreme.

So if the made more revival songs, i would like :
- So Deep (This song is so much popular, i can't believe they didn't bring it back yet)
- Syncronised Love
- Shooting Star
- Tribal Dance
- And a lot of other stuffs.

If You Were Here.. Max 300 before Max 300 existed (listen to the start). Meh, I'm not excited about If You Were Here. It was hardly played anyways. let's see some Dam Darium KCP Remix, Boom Boom Dollar KOG 3 mix and Butterfly Swing Mix.

Anyway, this is all fine and dandy, but absolutely meaningless if the US/EU doesn't get exposure. However, it seems Naoki fired everyone from the X release and decided to bring DDR out of from the ashes. If Naoki can get this awesome game outside of Japan at good quality, then Konami will have regained my respect 8).

Woah, that dude is serious. It's relieving to know that DDR is being helmed by someone who has a love for the series. Not to worry those that fear a jinx, but I do believe that X2 will be a better than average addition to the series.
