I remember the good old days when Dancing With Intensity was the standard for charting and Notepad was your editor (unless you used some random editor like X-Step). Can we go back to the simpler times, when Max/Max2 were the newest mixes and streamy ITG 11s were considered keyboard files?


Anyways, my first week file is done. Looks like the song was submitted to a competition on here several years ago so hopefully I don't peeve the original chartist off by "stealing" his song choice. I didn't even check until today when I finished the last chart for it lol

This sounds absolutely horrifying and I'm so glad I didn't get into making simfiles until DWI was sufficiently dead.


I wouldn't worry about it, honestly. Dibs is dumb, just because someone stepped it already doesn't mean you're not allowed to do your own take on it.

It's 2017 and I'm still using NotePad to edit my files. LOOOOOOOOL

My first week file will be completed whenever I am done finishing "Apology 2000 (DJ DEPATH&M-Project Remix)", my SS file that I was unable to complete within the week and cannot finish tonight because of school. All I have left to do for it is a chart. This shouldn't take *too* long...

3 hints at my song choice:
1. Fairly "tame" - the numbers "2.10 ", "3.35 ", and "5.85" have some significance to it.

I don't have much time right now, so I'm planning on finishing up an old, unreleased file that already has steps to it and submitting that. I laid down the steps sometime between 2006 and 2008. So you could say it took me around 10 years to develop this file.

Ah yes, a sim creator so advanced that it had 32nds, but no way to put in triplets so you had to cludge it awkwardly whenever you wanted to step anything on shuffle time.
