I would probably say about a 14.6 or 14.7 on this one. While the slowdowns and speedups would trip the players up a little bit, the patterns do seem doable for the most part.

I feel like you totally underestimated how hard this chart actually is... well I don't blame you. After playing it, the chart really felt quite harder than it looks. It's definitely on the higher 15 range if I may say so myself. The 16ths at 180 BPM (especially the 90 BPM 32nds) are really trippy since they contain a fair amount of candle steps, and it's much harder to score than I once imagined.

Anyway,
New Decade S- would probably be 18.5. It has quite a lot of elements of Fascination ~eternal love mix~ S- but somewhat more passable.

That's understandable. It's actually really good to have two different views on the same chart (visually seeing the chart versus playing the chart) as it really gives the opportunity of both people looking into that chart even more and give a really good idea of its difficulty. I can definitely agree with you in that it is one of those charts which is harder to play than it looks. But, whenever I do get the chance, I would really like to play the chart.


I really think the same on that one. While the jumps do drain the player a little bit due to the fast BPM, i really feel the freeze arrows towards the end of the song is really annoying and hard to time, making it one of the harder DDR 18s to PFC.

If you have StepMania and a pad at home, you can definitely play it. I played that chart on an ITG3 cabinet.

For me, it's not the Freeze Arrows per se, but rather the oddly timed 16th jumps and gallops that feel weird even when heard with the Clap assist.

As far as. Akibarrific S- goes, I would either rate it at an upper 13 (13.8-ish), or at a low 14 (about 14.2). The gallops at the beginning have a slight MAX 300 S- feel on this one, but the difficulty can be comparable closely to Twilight Zone's expert chart, except this song runs at a lower BPM. The lowest I would say is about 13.5 for this one.

It's pretty easy except for that one lengthy ITG-like 16th run at 138 BPM.

12.3 - The chart overall is very comparable (difficulty wise) to Dynamite Rave S- , but maybe a little bit easier.

I would say 17.3 or 17.4 - honestly, it's not terribly hard by 17 standards (none of the streams are terribly long), but it still has some pretty difficult parts.

TRIP MACHINE Phoenix's S- and S-, because both are rated 15.

15.3 for the Heavy Chart, and 15.4 for the Challenge chart, since they're pretty much the same. In some cases, the Heavy chart could even be considered harder because of those jumps during the second half.

Deadball De Homerun (Normally 13)

13.7 - Slighlyt fast 12th note (I think) gallops make the file a little bit tricky. There a few crossovers, but most of the patterns appear straightforward.

Probably the easiest 16 in the game, may be able to get away with being a 15, but the stops can only trip people up so many times before you memorize them.

(trying this one again because I think the 15.75 was meant for roppongi ver. D)

New York EVOLVED Ver. A

15.2 - I honestly do not feel that any of the versions of New York EVOLVED deserved to be merited a 16, maybe with the exception of ver. C. In my opinion, Version A is probably the middle, in terms of difficulty of the three. There are plenty of crossovers, but, not really any patterns or difficulty spikes that would merit the chart a 16. The chart can actually be seen truly as an upper 14 for DDR, despite of the numerous crossovers throughout the song.



MAXX UNLIMITED(X-Special) S-

MAXX UNLIMITED(X-Special) S-
18.2 - it's like a mostly simple but much pattern-wise worse version of Energizer S- from ITG2.

Stops aside, the patterns at the end are legitimately pretty difficult. Engraved Mark, 冥 S- and on the bounce S- are definitely easier.

10.0 (Taking the conservative approach with this one) - This one is pretty difficult to give a proper rating, even with decimals. Very few crossovers, and small streams, with the longest lasting about 2 measures makes it one of the easier files, despite of the moderately high BPM.

EGOISM 440 S- (Only because the rating was changed from a DDR 17 in DDR 2014/2015, to a DDR 18 in DDR A)
