Bingo!
I think the opposite of Konami, I think they do want to bring their Bemani series games outside of Japan. Hell they even tested SuperNova 2 and beatmania IIDX GOLD in the US since there's an interest here. It's just as what ranatalus said, the business aspect is what's holding back Konami from doing what they want to do: take over the world.
Although considering the fact that there are already machines here that could definitely run new BEMANI games (because let's not forget about the 5+ machines that were running PENDUAL before the PW shutdown), I don't think getting machines here is really the biggest problem KONAMI would be worrying about (assuming they're not worrying about it already). I think the biggest problem about getting games like PENDUAL, Lapistoria, jubeat prop, etc over to America would be licensing (if anything). Although, this could depend on whether or not they would decide to translate the games, or if that would even matter.
Either way, I'd think getting the machines across the ocean is the last thing they'd worry about, because they should (if anything) be trying to get the games legally in America (and hopefully supplying/offering eAMUSEMENT as well) on existing machines before trying to get machines to more locations, or getting machines that aren't already in any arcades.
But as pretty much everyone else in the thread has said, we really can't say that any of this is going to happen until Wednesday 6PM EST or Thursday 7AM JST.

Welp.
e-Amusement officially confirmed for United States. Something about website, no idea if service is actually allowed for North America. Yet.

Does this mean we can be happy now? I'm glad I didn't fuck Konami.

Currently, when I try to register, it's giving me a 404. Either the service is being overloaded, or KONAMI is fixing a few things. Guess I'll have to wait and see.

I'm thoroughly surprised that there are TONS of countries listed for signing up, I'd be shocked if Konami actually provides the service for those countries listed.
I mean they have to if it's on that list...right?....right?
Looks like no better time than to play the waiting game again

considering R1 is USA only, it could "possibly" mean something in the future
why would they list those countries otherwise
unless konami likes to dickwag

Something is up, it shows that California is a state that can be placed as 'Country of origin' when making an account.
That's Canada silly.

i mean really restating again i don't know why they would list other countries (south america is a big one here that raised my eyebrow)
when round 1 is currently USA only, i don't see round 1 moving to SA or EU in a while.
again, stay tuned

Excited that eAmuse is (for sure...?) expanding to the US, but I'm a bit scared to change my country and re-register because what if it won't let me use my card, or play IIDX anymore? >>

if you are talking about your programmed world card, they will not work on the official network.
also, it's not 100% confirmed yet, but it's likely considering the situation

Added the e-AMUSEMENT homepage to the Quick Links section in the ZIv main page for convenience.
