Are you in Montréal, Toronto or Western Canada? We need your help! Please vote for the best arcades in your region to help other gamers get the best value and fun.

Here is a comparison of the old style (left) and new style (right) listings for Ottawa:

As can be seen, the big difference is that instead of a boring, text-filled table, listings on region pages are now categorized according to game (along with matching background and logo) and quality. (If one visits a game page instead, backgrounds will reflect the region, while region names will use text.) Instead of 1-5 stars or thumbs up/down, there are now three ratings for each location:
• 🌟 is for a featured location. This is like four or five stars, or a thumbs up. This rating means that if gamers can only try one location, this should be the one. On region pages: only one featured location per game. On game pages: only one featured location per region.
• ★ is for a fan favourite location. This is like three to five stars, or a thumbs up; three-star locations lean towards four stars. These are all locations without a first place prize, but still worth playing because of great or decent condition. There can be one or many locations.
• If there is neither a gold star nor a silver star, this machine is not worth your time. (Example: several Scotiabank Theatre locations) This is like one to three stars, or a thumbs down; three-star locations lean towards two stars. These arcades do not care about their games being broken, littered, vandalized or even unsafe. If you wish to visit these locations nevertheless, expect to ask for refunds.

I hope to be able to give stars to as many locations as possible. I know that in some cases, though, it's just not possible.

Other details:
• DDR games will each have a listing page and, on regional pages, a section. A few exceptions: SN and SN2 will be merged under SN, unless a region only has SN2; X, X2 and X3 will be merged under X, except for Ottawa; 2013 and newer are merged under A for now.
• ITG games will be merged in one ITG listing page and, on regional pages, a section. This goes for converted and dedicated cabinets.
• PIU games (whether The Premiere 2, 2015 Prime, 2017 Prime 2 or other) will be merged in one PIU listing page and, on regional pages, a section. I think we just have 2015 and newer. Per Venny's request, if I ever list a specific version, I will double-check details.
• GuitarFreaks, DrumMania, PercussionFreaks and other Bemani titles will be listed if available and functional with at least a silver star.
• For each location, more details are available when clicking on its name.

Here is what comes to mind when thinking about the GTA:
• DDR A at D&B Oakville will be featured.
• DDR X at Scotiabank Theatre Toronto is such a shame, it will be confined to a footnote, not a dedicated section. I ask for refunds during almost every visit. SilverCity CrossIron Mills is much better and is actually playable, so there is no excuse.
• DDR SN2 at SilverCity Newmarket will be featured. I think it's the GTA's only SN. Had Playdium SN2 survived, it would have no star.
• DDR Extreme is in Toronto, but do any locations deserve a silver or gold star?
• ITG gets a featured star at Scarborough, I believe. 1 Up, Silver stars at Newmarket, Queensway, etc. Cineplex VIP (Eglinton): no star.
• PIU 2015 Prime at all D&B locations, plus Playdium. D&B gets one silver star and one gold star. Playdium gets no star.

Please help me keep the arcade listings updated and figure out which locations deserve stars! Thank you for your time.

Only ok-ish cab is r23.

Prime 2 is here! Online, $1.20 a play (with the $40 play card incl tax). Cards are not purchasable for now as they are finding out what price to sell them at and how they should sell them.

Bit of a bad news to anyone in Québec. La Récréathèque closed its doors recently and its not coming back to Les Galeries de la Capitale. A real shame considering they had a really nice ITG2 dedicab and some really good racing cabs such as H2Overdrive, Maximum Tune 3 and even the deluxe version of Indy 500 with the full size open wheel cockpit replica

Supposedly there's a new arcade near BestBuy and Paillard but i can't confirm since i don't live near that mall.

The Sirius cabinet is horrifying, don't even start on that.

There is a new arcade, but it's more like 5 games crammed in a corner... no DDR or ITG unfortunately. Now I can only play home on my Ignition pad... but hey, they have a Walking Dead rail shooter now...

I'll just go to that new Round 1 opening in Maine soon for my DDR fix I guess.

in the groove 2 cab (on r23 there is a song limit on your custom simfiles you want to play) in CHQ entertainment.

We have one half-decent DDR Extreme cab in the city. Otherwise... nada.

I just found out that there's a Dave and Buster's in Oakville that has DDR A, although I'm still not sure if they support e-amusement, like any arcade in Japan would. If they do, I can only dream that other Bemani games would come as well, particularly SDVX. Perhaps the first Round One outlet in Canada even.

It's been just a week past a year since the DDR A cab existed in Oakville lol, we can very much assure you that e-amusement support is a thing on it.

If you want your SDVX fix and don't mind a drive/border crossing, there is a Round1 at Great Lakes Crossing over at Auburn Hills about a half hour away from the Detroit-Windsor area. Still a ways out but much better than what it used to be (8 hours to Taunton, MA).

Come to Regina, we got 5th Mix!

DDR A is pretty much the only e-Amuse-enabled machine in Canada right? Nothing else other than that? Like, not a single jubeat even?

Gonna start living in Ontario in a few months and will be missing A LOT of my Bemani fix in the Philippines
