by the way, you got it wrong way around; Konami brings all the songs it can from past mixes, removing expired licenses in process. There are exceptions though.

This trashy game doesn't have Holic.... Well.

At least I don't need that.

Not having an OK-ish TaQ track is the least of this game's problems.

TaQ track with Autogen steps....... nope.

And maybe then, KNOAMI could finally justify releasing MAX Period.

The official DDR Facebook page has acknowledged this game now.

ahaha they deleted my post

Unsurprising, really. Maybe I should start wanking off about ITG in there, it'd stay on for longer.

"Our fanbase is pissed at us...we have seen their true faces. These people are loyal fans and those fans are full of fading hope, and when no more content is added to DDR 2013, all their dreams will die. The accumulated weight of all their hoping and praying will start to crush down upon them and all the fanboys and fangirls will look up and shout "Give us a new CS game, or a western AC release!"... and we'll look down and whisper "Classroom Edition." They had a choice, all of them. They could have followed in the footsteps of people who play other rhythm games like jubeat and Dance Central. Decent people who believed in not waiting for us to release a new DDR game overseas. Instead they followed the footsteps of those daydreamers and clueless optimists and didn't realize that DDR was basically dead until it was too late. Don't tell me they didn't have a choice. Now the whole fanbase stands on the brink, staring down into a black abyss, all those silly Americans, the Europeans, and even our Asian fans... and all of a sudden nobody can think of anything to say."

Wow, ok, that worked better than expected. There's your Watchmen reference for the day.

To be honest, the Europeans were staring into the abyss since roughly 2008. We spent much of the South Africa World Cup constructing a crane over it and bungee jumping.

Hahahah what the hell? Where did this even come from?? Also the little icons at 0:14 of the video are hilarious to me. The first one is PRECISELY how I play DDR.

Based on everything I have read *yes, I have read EVERY post from page 1 until now*, I think I will safely avoid this app as I don't have AppleTV and doesn't Konami realize that probably only 1 out every 10 people with an Apple product actually HAVE/USE Apple TV... I will also forlorn for Dance Wars *it was playable, and at least half of the songs were decent*, and in celebration of better days, play on a DDR Extreme machine tomorrow.

You know-that one release where the compilation of music was just awesome. I can see it now-So Deep (Perfect Sphere Remix), R3, Burnin' The Floor (blue fire mix), etc...

And based on that 6-man team used to release this app... don't they know that it takes more than 6 people to release a "full-scale" DDR game, mobile or not?

And that was my skimpy two cents.

To the two or three people who were able to play this game, does it actually work for Expert charts?

Playing DDR padless is good in theory, but I can't imagine that thing registers crossovers well. Probably hard to tell with the autogen steps, though. Egh.

I honestly can't really tell the difference between mp3 qualities. ._.;;; I just remember Paranoia Respect sounded afreakingmazing on Dance Wars with headphones, so erm... what were the stats of the songs on DW for comparison's sake?

The output for the mp3 files in the game is at 60 kbps at i believe 20100 Hz, meanwhile Apple releases all their songs in the store at 256 kbps at 44100 Hz.

Or in other words, not even the best audio systems in the world could salvage the botched up nature of the sound quality.
*insert crap bemani joke here*

The game doesn't register the body movements, it only registers if the phone is being shaken to the beat. I alway get the best scores when I just tap on the phone instead of really playing it. This works really bad for steps on the opposite site of the site where the phone is in the trouser pocket. In the end it doesn't work at all, no matter which difficulty is being played.

Also, buying the song packs doesn't work, the song pack has been charged for me but the game is unable to load the songs.

Wow. Ok, that's it, KONAMI, you've lost your DDR privileges. Sit in your corner and think about what you've done, maybe hire some people who know what the hell they're doing, re-assign the people who clearly have no idea what they're doing, and try again later.

This is, hands down, the worst title ever released in the DDR series. DDR Freedom was better.

Someone noticed that the name of the artist (NAOKI) for "Hit the ground" has been removed?

Look at the ending of Jet World in the video. On the Expert side(Advanced) on the last beat there is a jump but then after that there is a unnecessary down arrow. Stepmania's Autogen is better than this.
