I can't see Trip Machine and Paranoia coming to CROSSxBEATS without Konami throwing a fit about it because I think Konami owns the rights to Trip Machine and Paranoia. Now if they were new remixes of the songs, that's up for debate.

They may own the song, but that doesn't mean he can't make another to add to the series.

Eh...I would think that would be pretty sketchy. I don't know that you can just remix a song and release it commercially without the original owner's consent. Obviously it's a complicated legal matter, but I don't think they would even really want to risk something like that. I have been told that KONAMI owns the rights to all the songs he made during his time there and I doubt they would be keen on him using them. Of course, if he uses the name but makes completely different songs, then perhaps there wouldn't be an issue.

By the way, What Is Wrong With The World (Cross Edit) will be made available via a Famitsu app from Jan 2nd-Jan 9th. Not exactly how it's going to work, but it appears you will need to use their app somehow.

More info about the next event is up! This is what I understand from it:

The highscore attack songs are DIAMOND SKIN, Freak With Me and a new song called "Another Chance" by Luci.
Top 700 players will get "Sundrop" by Yamajet and earning 50000 points will unlock "チルドレン・オートマトン~ある歌声の亡霊~" by あさまっく.
Prizes go up to 95000 points and include customization items.

The Flawless attack songs are Wanna Be Your Special and two new songs, "Re:Milky Way" by イトヲカシ and "ロマンシングゲーム" by まふ×ティン.
Top 700 players get "電脳少女は歌姫の夢を見るか？" by デスおはぎ feat.蛮.
Earning 5000 points will unlock "ツカイステ・デッドワールド" by コゲ犬×ゆちゃ, 15000 will unlock "Reseed" by quick master.
Prizes go up to 50000 points and also include customization items.

Can anyone confirm this?

That's right. Also, the customization items for the highscore attack event are BGM (30000 pts.) and menu skin (70000 pts.) titled "AKATSUKI", and the item for the FA event is the corresponding game skin (10000 pts.)

Surprisingly, it looks like I have a shot at unlocking Sundrop, though it might be because the event just started.

I don't know how to get more RP to unlock next frontier.

It's just a case of unlocking new difficulties and getting good scores.

And what about of sp?

PD: someone has a code to unlock dynamite sensation? My code doesn't work any more. XD

You get spt by:

• Unlocking charts.
• Unlocking MASTER charts.
• Helping a friend unlock a chart.

You have to complete unlock challenges, or play along with friends when they are attempting to unlock a chart.

For RP, you want to play as many different songs as you can on the hardest difficulty you can clear each one on. The RP you earn from each song is calculated by multiplying your clear rate by the difficulty rating for each chart cleared then taking the maximum. Your RP from each song is then added up to get your total RP.

So for example, consider a hypothetical song which is rated a 10.0 on Standard, 30.0 on Hard, and 40.0 on Master.
Suppose you play it on Standard and get 90%. Then your RP for that song is 10.0 x 0.90, or 9.00.
Then suppose you play it on Hard and get 70%. That's worth 30.0 x 0.70 = 21.00 RP, which replaces your old 9.00 RP since it's higher. This is NOT additive. You do NOT have 30.00 RP total, you only have the 21.00 RP from Hard.
Then suppose you play it on Master and barely scrape by with 50%. That's worth 40.0 x 0.50 = 20.00 RP. Since you already have a higher RP of 21.00 on this song, your RP doesn't change.
But suppose you improve your Master clear rate to 60%. That's now worth 40.0 x 0.60 = 24.00 RP, which replaces your old 21.00 RP.

And since each difficulty is usually rated significantly higher than the last, barely scraping by on Master will often be worth more RP than a 100% on Hard, or at least more RP than you could ever hope to muster from Hard.

Also of note is that your clear rate is dependent on your combo AND your note judgements. Specifically, the formula is:
(4 x Flawless + 4 x Super + 2 x Cool + MaxCombo) / (5 x TotalNotes)
Your grade, however, is based purely on how many notes you got a Cool or better on.

Also, there are 3 songs each month which temporarily contribute 1.5x RP to your total RP. If you go to your profile and tap "RP List", they'll be listed with 今月のRPボーナス曲 and sorted at the top by default. Note that this is temporary. Continuing the above hypothetical, if that song were one of the monthly featured songs, it'd contribute 36.00 RP instead of the normal 24.00 RP. But once the month is over, it reverts to 24.00 RP and you lose that additional 12.00 from your total. I'm not sure exactly how it works if a song you've already played becomes a monthly featured song, but I can confirm that it does NOT automatically take your old RP and multiply it by 1.5x.

While I'm at it, if you're looking for unlock codes, try akpDuUE35114 to unlock Azitate (Prologue Edition). Unlike the others, it seems to have no limit on the number of times it can be used. It comes with a difficulty 61.0 Master chart already unlocked, which can be useful both for RP and for unlocking The Epic, which requires you to get an S+ on a chart rated 60.0 or above.

Fun(?) facts:

1) The maximum possible score for this event is:
39000pt from Freak With Me +18700pt from DIAMOND SKIN +38900pt from Another Chance = 96600pt.
To get the last prize (50 premium tickets) at 95000pt you'll need an average accuracy of over 98.3% in all three songs.
As of this post only 2 players have achieved that - which is kinda sad, but at the same time gives me hope for the Flawless Attack event.

2) Since the end of the Winter Campaign my mission counter seems to be broken. It says I have 182/182 missions cleared, even though I still have a lot of missions to clear.
Has this happened to you guys too?
