Why is there missing steps on the american ver?

Do you guys think that same song will be on the next ver?

Remember how DDR 4th and 5th mix shown up repeatedly because of the missing steps.

Well there's only one song that is missing difficulty and expert charts.

If you mean "Lesson by DJ", it's supposed to be like that.

Yep! I read this game review at Gamestop.com people saying this game sucks because it has slow songs. Well I like all but 5 songs on this mix, more than any other American DDRs.

I hope Konami add More than 50 songs next time!

I noticed that there are some Hottest Party simfiles available, but I read that al2k4 isn't making them. Where will the Hottest Party simfile packs be available, and when will they be complete?

Be patience I'm sure Alan will make the simfile packs for it after it releases. No need to rush here.

I actually made unsynced stepfiles for Blue Monday and 1998, but then I thought the UK people were about to get the UK version with edit mode, and thus be able to make simfiles with much less effort, so I stopped working on it. I'll do Disco Inferno tonight, since there's been no activity. I still don't trust my syncing skills though, so it won't really be synced. I'll set the sample section correctly though.

I mostly heard it here, look earlier in the thread. It's unconfirmed though (since nobody confirmed when I asked if it was confirmed earlier).

What I gathered was we assumed it was being included because of an Edit Mode option being present in one of the screenshots. I think some of us did consider the fact that it could have been an error though.

So sounds like we really are getting an Edit Mode after all then? Seems incredibly odd they'd add such a feature just for the Europeans. I wouldn't say we are into creating edit steps any more than the rest of the world but whatever...

Well, it's also possible that they planned it from the start, but didn't have all the bugs worked out in time for the JPN and US releases, so we didn't get it. Then they continued to work on it, using the extra time before the EU release to work the bugs out. Just conjecture though.

It just seems odd that they'd put in such effort for an extra mode just for Europe. I mean Edit Mode is hardly like Groove Circuit or Free Play which are very important parts of the game. In fact I can't even remember the last time I even used Edit Mode for my own steps but that's not to say I'm complaining though, especially if it does help in creating the simfiles.

It just seems incredibly unusual to me is all...

I don't think Konami hates Europe as much as we think. They're awfull generous to us sometimes, look at Metal Gear Solid.
We got extra stuff that was limited in supply bundled in regularly (The document of MGS2, MGS3: Subsistence Disc 3) and extras in the game (making of, extras modes, difficulties etc.)
I wouldn't be surprised if we did get edit mode.

I bought it today, went round friends and got everything unlocked within 7 hours. XD

No EDIT MODE and 50 songs in the Europe version. Same songlist as US.

tokyoEVOLVED is bloody evil on pad. I died 60% of the way. XD

Looks like its back to work on the simfiles then!
